Given your read on the the original raiser plus the fact you are close to the bubble and above the average stack .. terrible play ... I would simply fold preflop and wait foe a) better spot or b) bubble to break ..
I wouldn't of called that bet I put him on pocket tens or J J possibly q q. I would of made the correct call, In your part I think you gamble. which was ok if you would of won but I don't think it was the correct call.
