Thanks for the info. I had issues with an events log using up all my internal memory, I couldn't even get my texts, memory was full! Rooted so I could delete log file, then I made the log file read only once the phone started logging again. Changed my start up animation too. Thanks :-)

jailbreaking. hacked. modded. its all the same. it allows people to change things, virgin mobile doesnt want us to.

@xSBxUltrax it seems to me though that by jail breaking it, you get things that should come with the phone anyway.

if there were to be any problems that would happen to the phone....other than what might happen while "jail breaking it" would they still fix the phone? even though its been hacked.

what are all the things you can do with a rooted phone? mainly can you get android 2.3? and what happens if somehow something goes wrong? can you fix your phone?

@tritton720sAREgood Well currently a dev is working on cyanogen mod (2.3) for the triumph but its not fully working yet. When motorola releases the source for the phone then he will be able to get everything working.

As for what you can do with a rooted device besides like rom manager idk since I don't own one... YET. :)
