I have two of these cards. Yes, you only need one crossfire connector for two cards (i actually tried two, seemed to help some things but actually started to make 3DMark Vantage seriously glitch visually (but still run really fast! lol). Infact i have two different brands of card, reference design Club3D and custom design newer XFX card (shorter, exposed back, fan is 80mm and in the middle instead of a blower) and they work perfectly well together. :)

@NYCityBoy718 1000Watts is more than enough, as long as its a good quality PSU, you would getaway with a 750Watt as long as it was 80+ Duel rails and modular. the Corsair is plenty big enough.

@DayyanAli200 well this card is very efficient.. it draws very little power on idle.. first u need to check what psu u have... and i think the core2quad will bottleneck the system

I'm in love with my 5850 and I am going to marry it soon. LOL but the 5800 and 5900 series are top of the line cards that are so awesome to have. Make sure you are running a Quad Core like an Intel i5 or i7. Soon they are going to make games that uitize all 4 cores pretty soon. Watch and see.

Those that are thinking about Intel i5 dual core, for get about it in the next year or so. Better off with a i5 Quad Core or i7 CPU
