@barisaxlover, I wondered the same thing because I've been wakeboarding for years and thought it might be the same, and to be honest, wakeboarding and snowboarding are not much the same at all. Snowboards are a lot harder to control and carve then a wakeboard, so the only thing a wakeboard will help you with really is just your stance and maybe your balance.

these videos are terrible, although he's right with free-foot-back style being more comfortable. i started by scooting with my free foot in front... couldn't figure out why my left leg was so sore after a day of boarding.

after the switch to scooting in back, that issue is solved.

but these videos are a god damn joke. strap on a board, go to the hill where all the kids go sledding, and learn by doing. these are a waste of time.

except on a skateboard your front foot isnt strapped in at an angle. it is pionted in the directon you are going. So I find skating with foot behind board more comfortable and faster.

I can't do this. I've always pushed mongo (rear foot on board) when i skateboard, so moving to having to push with a foot i can't push with beforehand, is very hard. Ends up with me falling over whenever i want to go anywhere more than 3ft away.
