@g6ypk That's immaterial to his talent as a comedian. He is one of those troubled souls whose comi genius made my 1960s and 1970s adolescence bearable, and I remember him and others with gratitude.
Does anyone remember the Sword fight gag Frankie told? I remember it being funny and going something like 'He thrust and I parried, I parried and he thrust..' and then a great punch like which eludes me! Any help please send me a message.

@Stuber9077 Haha I know. You could waste many hours watching all the Up Pompeii episodes and other Frankie Howerd films that are on YouTube as I have and hope to find it. But I wouldn't advise it!
