I appreciate you addressing this matter to your younger viewers. I waited to drink until I was of age and I don't regret it for a minute. I've learned to appreciate true fun and emotions with friends and family and it's not an necessity to have a good time, which is what my underage siblings seem to think (as well as my parents, unfortunately).
was a great message datev, here in Portugal with 16 years old you can have drinks and go to clubs (legally) so i can say i grew up with all of that and now that im older (21 :p) i stop enjoying it, still go to partys its just not the same thing. now i know that everything as a certain time to happen dont mess it up and enjoy every moment.we live and learn. best wishes Datev you are a true role model :)
im in college now and i didn't drink or party in high school and even if college i'm still not drinking because i'm underage and i don't see the point of drinking underage. Just because other kids in you're highschool drink doesn't mean you have to. You guys can still have fun without drinking or partying. i agree completely with you Datev on everything you said; i didn't go out and party when i was in high school either. i grew up in a very evangelical Christian household so i had those values instilled in me from little on up. personally, i don't have any issue with drinking, but getting drunk is what's the problem, cuz getting drunk makes everyone the same: stupid. i'm 26 and i've noticed that wisdom and discernment really do come w/ age. but we can still have fun in the right ways :)

But I did drink at that age because most of my friends were and I thought it was cool . I don't drink much now because I hate the way it makes me feel ... when your drunk you have no control over yourself and that can cause problems in many ways . So if your young stay that way and enjoy your life because before you know it your an adult and have to worry about bills !

Dot, you have nothing to worry about in terms of putting up "troubling" footage. You showed kids how to drink responsibly. You called friends to pick you up. How many of us don't do that, or don't set up Designated Drivers when we go out. I'm thankful that I have friends that are willing to do that. I'm Belgian and drinking is legal from the age of 16 over here. it doesn't really mater if you're 16 or 21 they'll have to learn and coop with drinking someday... the only thing you can do is warn them but its still there choice how much they drink.

Interesting perspective on drinking. The perception of drinking is so obscure here in America. People should enjoy the drink, not let the drink enjoy them. In essence, don't be a dumbass.

And I think it's better that put that footage up and then addressed it instead of leaving it out and not talking about it. It's more realistic and it sends a better message than pretending it didn't happen because that makes more damage (and I'm speaking in a more general sense and not specifically just your footage).
I actually didn't like Mr.Nobody. It was an interesting idea that was somewhat poorly executed. And I'm usually a fan of "strange" movies. But my expectations might have been a bit too high.
I live in England so there's a big drinking culture but as a consequence I'm now bored of drinking at the age of 18 (legal age here). I definitely agree that you should wait! you are an excellent role model .F
@msi0star Do you know a lot of Heiko's? It's not even super common in Germany. Most people think it's a Japanese female's name, but it's a northern German name. Everyone at least tells me it's common here in the states.
@msi0star Yes, I am Heiko. My mother is from Germany and I was born there, however I have only met a few other Heiko's here in the United States. People still ask me if I am Japanese, even after they have seen me. I am quite European looking.

To copy a DVD use a program called RipIt. It can either make an exact copy of the DVD but remove all the ads and piracy things, or you can set it to make a mp4 file for use on iPods, Macs and that sort of thing. Hope that helps :)
That was well said, I had never drank before I turned 21 but now I do and I enjoy myself. Sometimes we can go overboard, and might regret it the next day but I think you addressed it correctly and shouldn't be ashamed of wanting to have a good time with friends.

@Porcelanesa This is Heiko. Thank you. It's not always that great to have a different name as a kid, but it definitely is better when you grow up, even if you have to either explain you are not a Japanese woman, when they can see you are a 6'-2" white guy.

As an olderish viewer, I respect you so much for putting up that little addendum to last night's video. You should of course be able to go out and have fun, but it's refreshing to see someone who's so aware and respectful of the responsibility of drinking, and the added responsibility you have with your younger viewership. I think you're a great role model, and regardless of your occasional drinking, you show your viewers so many different ways to have fun! You're doing a great job, .F!

You shouldn't have to defend yourself about drinking, but I like what you said about telling the teenagers here to enjoy being young! I j ust turned 20 and as much as I wanted to grow up, it was so nice to not have as many responsibilities then.

So Shay Carls' sister Carli got lucky and crashed a Hollywood party with a Maker Studio friend Miya. She met Taylor Laughner, Michael Bay, Fergie, and I think Ryan Gossling - at 1 minute into a vlog called; "Michael Bay Christmas Party". Check it out Dat. And I think it's better that put that footage up and then addressed it instead of leaving it out and not talking about it. It's more realistic and it sends a better message than pretending it didn't happen because that makes more damage (and I'm speaking in a more general sense and not specifically just your footage).

I actually didn't like Mr.Nobody. It was an interesting idea that was somewhat poorly executed. And I'm usually a fan of "strange" movies. But my expectations might have been a bit too high.

@msi0star Do you know a lot of Heiko's? It's not even super common in Germany. Most people think it's a Japanese female's name, but it's a northern German name. Everyone at least tells me it's common here in the states.

@msi0star Yes, I am Heiko. My mother is from Germany and I was born there, however I have only met a few other Heiko's here in the United States. People still ask me if I am Japanese, even after they have seen me. I am quite European looking.

To copy a DVD use a program called RipIt. It can either make an exact copy of the DVD but remove all the ads and piracy things, or you can set it to make a mp4 file for use on iPods, Macs and that sort of thing. Hope that helps :)

That was well said, I had never drank before I turned 21 but now I do and I enjoy myself. Sometimes we can go overboard, and might regret it the next day but I think you addressed it correctly and shouldn't be ashamed of wanting to have a good time with friends.
