If you want a punkshirt you should buy it when you gonna see the band to suport it but when you do it online, youre supporting coorporations who think punk is money
Like, I don't know, i don't brag about how DIY I am, I'm DIY, I know it, so... I don't see the need to say like "I made a conflict shirt the other day and have it washed it since" Or whatever you know, like sorry just putting in my opinion.
in my opinion ,"CONFLICT" is the best punk band ever, love the political & animal rights lyrics along with the music, the message is always an important part of punk music, thier not silly love songs, thier political ,raw, angry about real issues in the world...cheers from canada..liberate labratory animals
you know its sad when people who are only thinking fashion is passion as a way of life it saddens me to know that out there are people who got mislead by mainstream punk rock sellouts like rancid and the casualties i love those two bands but i can see they sellout this music is way beyond your trends they dont dress like another punk because you instantly are a conformist when you are still lookin like others and not having your own personality and thoughts be creative and dont follow lead on
The only ones that complain about the clothing of "punx" are the ones who are actually busy with looking to what everybody is wearing... DIRECT ACTION, not DIRECT OBSERVING. this song's about the essence btw, not directly to people.
Why are all you assholes trying to prove yourselves as punks on the internet for getting deals and finding shit/getting shit for cheap? Why is it always a fucking contest?
I bought in a punk shop only once maybe 4-5 years ago... i could get 3 T-shrits for ones price and i wear these clothes nowadays, too. It was a good deal, I guess. But yeah of course: anarcho-punk isnt a fucking fashion
man! this is some of the best stuff i've ever heard in my life! This kinda stuff makes me happy to be alive. Yes there is trouble in this world. Yes I find it very difficult to connect with the people around me. But i glad i have this kinda music to enrich my life.
exactly why punk is dead. kids like you that fight over it. kids who try to make "rules" about punk like "you cant shop at hot topic or your not punk!" "you cant buy punk gear because punk is about hating the government and money is from the government!" punk is about being yourself, retards. anarcho-punk is a style of punk, its not the whole punk scene. go on, diss me
@INT3NSEF34R I was joking... just want to say that I past this "what is that punk wearing" bullshit, and it's time for direct action. fuck fashion indeed, but if a guy with his expensive punkrock suite is saving some animals out of zoos I'd have more respect towards him than for example a dodgy crust punk who wants his drugs and blanket to sleep and bitch about everything, u know.. "armchair anarchists???" well not to stereotype but since we're all doing that hehehehe
quite sad to think that most of the people who would have bought this album at the time are, probably, grandparents sitting in council flats with lung and heart disease.
The same story with rap that started with poor people that wanted to make music and critize society. Now it's mostly a lot of bling and empty lyrics that promote greed, sex and violence. It's the way the system works to oppress. They rather have emotional people than those who think for themselves.
@RaXz2k - I completely agree with that. But there are far too many ignorant people out there to understand that. Although I commend anybody who is open-minded enough to know and act on it.
@acidez92 right you are! I go to school everyday to find people with 40 dollar bondage belts, 50 dollar plaid jeans, 190 dollar boots, and jackets in which they invested fortunes on. It's sad really.
@theholyshit12 I made my own bondage plaids, my own belt, and i spent less than 65 dollars on a kickass jacket. Just because someone dresses stereotypical doesn't mean they are fakes. Punk should be for everyone, reguardless of looks and age. Excluding someone for looks is about as ridiculous as telling an airport security guard you're carrying explosives on you.
@noobishdumbberry I also made my own bondage pants, I made my own belt too. Before I knew what punk REALLY was i used to go to hot topic though. I bought a belt from there. But when I learned about capitalism i wanted a way to protest so i took the studs off that belt and put them on my own belt. That was my way of breaking down what companys built. Not tthe greatest way to protest but hey, I'm still kinda new to this..
Btw I'll never go to hot topic again, i was a dumbass before
@Trevor9849 I bet we all were... To be honest, every person who is a punk has been a little new to it at some point.. And that's good man. Protest, survive, abolish.
@Trevor9849 Oh, same here. I cut some cheetah fabricoff of some old pillows and make or buy some patches. I got this denim vest from a thrift store for 3 bucks.Haha i used to look on ebay and try to buy jacvkets, but i thought" why not be myself and make my own?"
@acidez92: I bought my leather on the street for $7 from someone who needed to change their look quick. Boots donated by a friend, clothes - forever being stitched back together by hand or when past mending combined into new items.

Punk shops - " roll up! Buy your rebellion here!"
Badges, posters, bondage, books, colouring for your hair
Like sheep they flocked to buy punk rock, a part of the new threat!
The country laughed and screamed "punk flop"; it now seemed punk was dead!
