a finer point from a pro...after the card (top) is thrown...switch the hold from middle to 1st finger. Psychologically....when thrown correctly (no switch) the right hand mirrors the left hand in the way the cards are held. It is important to keep that image when throwing the top card instead. This is a touch that makes all the difference in the world.

the joker and the queen should be held by to different fingers, the index finger on the top one and the middle finger on the bottom one, while both are being held by the thumb.  Just release the finger of the card that you want to drop.

personaly I hole both cards with me thumb and middle finger, its harder to learn but in the long run you have more options
