I have a VX2265wm and I can get the PS3 to connect just fine, and run at 1080p, but the image extends off the right side of the screen, and if I try any other resolution the screen clones itself and gets all fuzzy. For example, at 480p there are 4 tiny versions of the menu sharing the same screen space. The same thing happens if I try to run LittleBigPlanet.

PS3 can't handle complex graphics I recommend Xbox 360 for testing. Recent test's confirmed Xbox 360 had better graphics and fps among 9/10 games tested. Just sayin', I got a ps3, wii, and an xbox 360. But my 360 can deliver far better picture, quality, performance, and I can see detailed textures in it as with ps3 I can't. I also got a full-hdtv with hdmi, 1080p.

when you start the ps3 you have to hold down the touchpad button (on the actual playstation) for about 2 seconds until it beeps. This is so it resets all the graphics settings, because now, it is still sending video to the output you had on it before.

if u want to check if u have a HDMI or DVI monitor go on google images and look at the back of ur moniter and see which one it looks like, its easy to tell, but if ur comp is over a year old u probably have a DVI moniter.. the RCA cable is for u to get the sound, its basically an adpater with the white yellow and red for T.V but ull only plug in the sound wires cuss u already have video from the DVI to HDMI. ..just type in RCA cable in bestbuy and it will show u. reply if u dont understand

Thanks for the video I recently ordered the MSG4 80 gig PS3 and I wanted to play in 1900x1080 (1080p) so I bought the ViewSonic VX2260WM 22-Inch 1080p HDMI LCD Monitor.
