I have watched RR shows, and my brother has joined forums that tell VERY detailed info and specs. I've seen FMP, Code Geass, and Macross. And I used the Marvel heroes as a similar situation, its called a simile! Commenting on that shows your narrow mindedness. And the anime Turn A Gundam is a RR show, but the mech is not. I've been to very detailed forums man. I know my info. We can go at this for years if you want. But I can counter any point you bring up!

SRs don't have such hindrances, which gives them an edge.
If an RR tries to go beyond its potential it breaks up. An SR howerver gets stronger and stronger! And don't give me that crap about SRs breaking up when that happens, Shin Getter, Kaiser, and Genesic have only reach 10% of their full capabilities in the anime. At full power Shin Getter can throw 3 consecutive Stoner Sunshines. Kaiser's Fire Blaster can destroy planets. Genesic has not yet even used all the Gadget tools. And Gurren Lagann has shown my point, no breaking, just got stronger.
Another note on you Turn A is a RR comment. There are SRs that are very RR like. Like Overman King Gainer and the G Gunner of Godannar. King Gainer is small and doesn't shout the attcks, and G Gunner's weeapons are very RR-ish. And I know alot of people who agree with me. IN REAL ROBOT FORUMS. Even SRW has shown that SRs are better, they are the highlight not the reals. And japan has embraced the fact SRs are better than reals. SRW OG has further proven that. So, sorry man.
Besides their are things that RRs have over SRs, and it is not mech superiority. Its the way the story is told. And how realistic the conflicts are. Its this realistic complexity that makes RRs appealing. And to further keep to realism they have REALISTIC mechs. If they go beyond certain bounds, they are not realistic. Thus, not real robots. Besides RRs can't survive Big Bang grade explosions.

"Real" robots (or as real as most gundams and vals can get)are big humanoid weapons, while most super robots are nothing short of gods. have you seen goldion crusher? or the fire blaster? I heard shin getter´s stoner sunshine blew up a moon or something in one of the ovas (or something like that). The mere fact that its pilots are able to control those powers speaks volumes of their skills. Anyway, in the end it comes down to who you like.
NuSaber, this will be my last comment regarding SRs vs RRs. SRs bend logic. And whilst there are things that can give an RR a chance, these are normally exception of the rule things. Furthermore, SRW logic doesn't work with the RR vs SR topic because that is just game balancing.

As said before, it would only take another Super Robot to beat a Super Robot. Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger can easily take down the 00 Gundams, trust me, my bro knows Gundam tech by heart, so we know this very well.
You have to consider though, these are a new type of gundams. Their power is comparable to the supers. Of course, I don't have the supers going at full strength..... yet....

But that simply isn't the case. Super Robots bend logic, physics, and common sense all the time. They can increase their strength with the power of will and determination.
The 00 guys, despite being new generation, are no where near breaking the laws stated. Moreover, feelings don't cause the Gundams to get any stronger. It may look that way, but if you actually dig in deeper, you should already know that they are a best, high level reals. And that isn't enough to compare or even beat a Super.
you forgot the trans-am system. increases strength, speed, intense damage from beam attacks. yet you missed the secret stuff. and the gundam double X's twin satellite cannon can be enough to take down a super robot(despite the super robot's increasing performance).
can't say cannot. eventually, the real robots WILL beat the super robots it might not happen now but maybe soon. it's not just about power and strength, it's also about instinct and piloting. I'm a big fan of real robot but that doesn't mean that I like it only. I like super robots too( gurren laggan, gunbuster, giant robo).

They are not invincible,they can be beaten by other Supers. And Turn A is not a real robot at full power. A mech becomes a SR when it can do things like G Gundam and Turn A. And supers may still be tech, but they are tech that go beyond ALL bounds. They defy logic and physics. So sorry. SUPER ROBOTS WIIIIN!!!
