great work. i just started iol painting this past summer, and i was trying to figure out how to paint close up flowers, for a hummingbird painting im doing. so this helped a lot, but i do have a question for you how did you highlight you branch? and when you where making your flowers did you first used a dark color then went over it with white?

Do you varnish all your acrylic works on canvas? Lovely magnolias

all these works are oil. I haven't painted in acrylic in a long time. I do damar varnish to protect my work.

I think so, I am still trying to get it less blurry. But that may take a more expensive camera. I am still using my web cam for some capture.
