It's scary as hell on Expert. With zombies killing you in a few hits, you need to be on your toes, and when a boomer pops out at you, you are zombie soup. Or you hear a tank, and the door busts down and a tank runs at you. The music on L4D is what makes it scary. Also, nice flame.
