AND I'm folding laundry as I'm watching this (I hate it too!)

  • broadways i have seen

    only two

    CATS! my favv!

    Chicago is awesome too :))

  • I'd recommend 'We Will Rock You' - it's like a live rock concert with a comedic plot!

Granted I've only seen the swedish cast, at 'Circus' in Stockholm, but I'd guess the english vocals are of the same high standards as they were.

  • I've seen 16!

  • I actually loved CATS when I saw it. Anyways, I've saw Phantom of the Opera (My favorite), CATS, Les Mis, BatB, RENT, and the Lion King.

  • pop! haha chicago

  • Im 20 and i own ol calcutta as well, lol I own most of those on vhs or dvd, you know like the recordings of them on broadway, and whatever movie they made of them. Im from Oklahoma so they really dont come this way with national tours very often. Theres a place here called Dicovery Land that does Oklahoma! and 7 brides, its outdoors its amazing, much more fun !

  • WWE RAW IS NUMBER 1 WITH MORE THAN 900 SHOWS

  • I love Les Mis... seen 1 live at the West End [I'm only 16] but I've heard all of the soundtracks...

  • Some of these I've seen on stage but not on Broadway/broadway tour, but I'm going to count them anyway.

    Cats

    Sound of Music

Les Miserables (Haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to see it in the spring....in LONDON!!!!)

    Fiddler on the Roof

    Annie

Wicked isn't on here....but it will be one day. So I'm going to count it as I've seen it twice going on three times.

  • 0/25

I'm not realy a fan of broadway or plays.

  • I haven't seen any Broadway shows in any variety. </3 ;A;

Augh, seeing the movies should totally count.

  • I've seen Les Miserables, Hairspray and Grease on broadway.

I've seen Rent, Mamma Mia, Annie and Grease movies, I saw a local production of Beauty and the Beast.

But I'm only 15 so most of these are pretty old.

  • When I went to Europe, I saw Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre in London. It's the only show I've seen, and I thought it was amazing. The costumes, etc. were awesome.

saw Annie because of my Jr. High.

    Our community theater did Oklahoma

The only movie I saw on Broadway in NYC was Mary Poppins, and I saw WICKED in Chicago. :)

And i definately agree on your CD advice, seeing Les Mis my teacher forced us to watch it first and it was so helpful!

  • 10/25

  • i saw none of them but i have seen 1 broadway show! Legally Blonde im loved it so much its not even funny! But i know im gonna love 9 to 5 and wicked!

  • I have to say that I don't mind Cats, but I absolutly hate Annie. And the worst part is that the songs from Annie get stuck in my head all the time which just makes me hate it even more.

  • Never been to New York, so I've seen no shows on Broadway. Wah... But I've seen Lion King on stage in SF, part of Grease (I was late), and three different productions of Cabaret at local theaters. But in movie form I've seen:

  • lol only 4/25

  • I like the music in Cats, some of the songs are great, the show itself is a little weird tho.

I totally get what ur saying about Les Miz. My grandma told me the same thing.

The Lion King was fantastic. I wanted to cry in the opening number, amazing! go see it!

I'm in a Mentorship Program at a local theatre (i follow around one the actors and helps me with stuff.) and they're putting on 42nd street, but i haven't seen it

I've seen 15 total in various capacities

  • I completely agree with you about CATS. One of the worst musicals of all time. I have no idea how it lasted so long. It was my high school theatre teacher's least favorite too. Whenever someone was performing and did something...uninspiring I suppose, she would say, "Wow. That was almost as good as CATS." Haha.

Anyway, my score was 13/25. For as much as I love theatre, I haven't seen that many!

  • on stage 6/25

    in movies and stage 8/25.

    i suck!

  • On Broadway: 2/25 (RENT and Beauty and the Beast)

LAME AS!!
  • Just 2

    -Phantom of the Opera

    -Lion King

  • Only 3/25. D: I only saw RENT on Broadway; was gonna see the Lion King this year on my birthday but the writer's strike cancelled it--the morning of our show the strike started! XD I guessed that the Phantom of the Opera would be the longest, though--I love that show.

  • lets just say... you did better than me XD

i must recommend lion king, however.

i thought the broadway show was amazing, cause they use all these puppets and the whole thing is just beautiful.

i cried.. not that i wouldn't normally cry at the end of the lion king [ MUFASA!]

ask the hub, cause i don't know why you'd listen to me, because.. i'm a crazy person telling you to spend you money on broadway ... [on broadway..]

  • I have seen only 8 only the movies but im only 15 so thats not bad

  • 18/25 ....buuut 5 of them ive only seen the movie soo i guess its really 13/25.

i totally agree about listening to the soundtrack first, that way you can just enjoy the experience instead of trying to decipher the lyrics

  • 18/25

    You are my new hero.

I am a musical theatre junkie, I also work with autistic students.

I agree that Cats is one of the worst musicals ever.

    <3 ya.

  • 16/25 some i performed in

  • Lion Kind is amazing. I recommend!! :D

  • So I've seen 14! None on Broadway though, as my parents keep on refusing my pleads to go to NY :C -- 2 on tour (Phantom and RENT), 1 local (Annie), 8 movies (Cats, Beauty, Chicago, Lion King, Grease, My Fair Lady, Producers, Cabaret, Hairspray), 2 school (Les Mis and Fiddler).

But I LOVE Miss Saigon and 42nd Street, would do anything to see them.

  • 3, and the guy who made greece is from the twon that i live in, Radnor class of '57 ( i think, well he went to radnor high)

  • 15... not bad for a straight guy eh? I'll be up to 17 in the next few months with Chorus Line and My Fair Lady coming to the Ahmanson Theatre in LA.... Other than that, I'm down to:

Oh Calcutta! and the three plays (which don't REALLY count), Cats, Mamma Mia, and Hairspray (only seen movie). WHEW!

  • I've seen 7 and been in 4. Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Beauty and the Beast and i did Annie professionally! i loved being in Annie, but i can't stand watching a play. i have to either be in it or be directing it. i do musicals. i loved Mama Mia! by the way, it was cool. i saw it about a month ago when it went to San Antonio and saw the dudes who played Sky, Harry, and Sam and the Girls who played Sophie, Donna and

    one of Sophie's friends

  • i love that you're as A.D.D. as i am. LOVE IT!

  • I was in Cats and it was a lot of fun!

I mean the show is plotless and bad, but I still like it!

    10/25 (not including movies)

  • I seen one of the plays, but eight of the movies.

  • okay...why is WICKED not included somewhere...OR GIVEN A MENTIONING! its like the best show ever!

  • Nine out of 25....Not too bad....I counted the fact that I was IN a production of Beauty and the Beast that my school did....So...Yeah....And Hairspray was the only one that I actually say on BROADWAY...Lol...Sad. The rest were high school musicals....:( Oh well.

  • I agree, Grease SUCKED on broadway. Saw it with Brooke Shields in it. Only saw 4 out of all of the one's listed. My fav's that weren't listed, The Diner Party (with Ritter and Winkler)(Funny!) and I still have my "Rent Dent" on my suv!!!! I refuse to fix it because it was the last show I saw before having to move! L O V E, love, love Rent!! (they never should have made the movie!) egad!!

  • I've seen 4:

Phantom of the Opera (well I'm seeing it the 23rd)

    BatB (it was good)

    42nd Street (i hated it)

Fiddler on the Roof (boring as hell)
