This music is good, Just because Chester is in another band doesnt mean Linkin Park have broken up, they obviously havent broken up because they recently played a concert in Melbourne australia, If you look at Blink 182, a couple of their band members are in numerous bands, +44, Angels and Airwaves. and way more. So you cant really Put DBS Against LP saying whos music is better, they are completely different bands trying to achieve different sounds.

There aint nothing wrong with side projects. Just look at Fort Minor. Fort Minor was dope and I still listen to it. Shinoda had some good beats. I havent gotten Dead By Sunrise yet but so far from the stuff ive heard sounds good. People on here need to chill out with that side projects are bad shit. Maybe he needs to express himself in other ways? A lot of artists have side projects these days. Look at Eminem and D12.

the upcomming techno thing indeed ... but the punk-rock-metal was still raw in the 80s .. nothing of the stuff artists make today can reach such rawness.. look 4 pantera, acid bath, the melvins, old metallica, megadeth... (maybe not the style of much people here) and duude LP is nothing now man .. they got realy soft since 2007 ..

This has more of an alternative or heavy (crawl back in) classic rock sound to it.
Emo is a fucking music genre called emotive hardcore...one band in particular is Jimmy Eat World and Weeze at one point in time....not this....this is a rock ballad like all 80s hair metal bands had.

There aint nothing wrong with side projects. Just look at Fort Minor. Fort Minor was dope and I still listen to it. Shinoda had some good beats. I havent gotten Dead By Sunrise yet but so far from the stuff ive heard sounds good. People on here need to chill out with that side projects are bad shit. Maybe he needs to express himself in other ways? A lot of artists have side projects these days. Look at Eminem and D12.

omg this song sucks. It makes me so mad when good bands break up and think there good enough to form another band and create new shit, which ends up sucking ass. God he was a great singer with Linkin Park but with this new band he is bad. I don't know what to do with music anymore. I think it just keeps getting worse and worse.. Dead by Sunrise is a side project Chester did as to someone acting being a second hobby from the main hobby being playing an instrument. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of your other points you pointed out on the other comments about LP, DBS, and FM addressing messages about life and all.

@systemsmash Yeah,I know what you're saying,but I really think the band is able to put on some balance bettween soft and edge.There were a lot of that on Minutes to Midnight.Some song were really hard,and other really soft.I just hope they pay attention to don't become soft or hard only.They made it on Minutes to Midnight but it somehow sounded like they were about to start getting soft only.Hope I'm wrong.
