  • I heard you on the radio playing this live today at Love and War in Plano, as well as other songs. Wow, all great songs. I think Jeff Bridges was channeling your voice a bit in CrazyHeart. I'll be keeping my ears open buddy.

  • Playin at Zydeco in Birmingham on jan. 28 with Bleu Edmonson. Me an the boys is drivin up.

  • Going to be a great show at Club Cafe this Friday. Don't miss it.

  • Will be seeing him live at FESTUS Saturday in Louisville and really looking forward to it. In today's world of "sale out artists" a "real" songwriter needs to appreciated!

  • Hi Chris, well done on your original song. We really enjoyed listening to a very personal life story that tells of lifes trials and tribulations. And what better than for country music's real muso's to deliver these stories. We look forward to hearing more of you. Do check out our official CMB website, link located on our YouTube channel and if you feel we can help you in anyway with exposure to our audiences leave us a line at the site. Cheers from the CMB team.

  • Chris has just announced some more tour dates. Check his website to see if he`s coming to a town near you. He has dates listed in CO, TN, GA, NC, MA, and several in Texas. If he`s anywhere near you, check him out. He`s one of the greatest writers of our time.

  • It's been way too long since I've seen him. I saw he's coming back in February. I did see Bill Rice play at my work a few nights ago and he played a handful of Knight songs including this one and something to keep me going

  • @starchief59 Do you ever get to see Reckless Kelly? They are one of my favirite bands to..

  • I have not really listened to the motor cars any, i`ll check `m out!

  • I can't wait to see him in Dallas next month

  • What a voice and writer - absolutely agree he should be up there. Good on Bob Harris for broadcasting his name.

  • One of a kind. He`s the real deal.

I think Bob Harris has interviewed him a couple of times and had him play a few songs live on the radio.

  • i bought a chepo 10$ mp3 player from a store called family dollar....(it works great btw)

I installed my songs from my pc, and while listening at work not realizing what was playing i heard this song..i was like " i dont remember having this" but fell in love with it. It was obviously preloaded on the players on purpose...but thanks god they did. THis man is truly a talent...much like paul thorn. Thanks cheap MP3 player with taste ;-)

  • So this song was loaded on a new mp3 player? Seems a little odd to me, but thats awesome!! Did you know about him before that? He has a lot of great songs, and I think he`s one of the best writers of our time.

    Thanks for commenting!

  • country music is blind as hell for not seeing chris knight and Pat green for what they are nothing short of great singer song writers. the establishment has screwed the world by not giving these two the credit they deserve but I don't need cmt to tell me whats good chris knight is the sh*t

  • I could not have said it better. Thanks for commenting. It`s up to us to spread the word the word about him I guess. I hope putting these videos up will help .

  • Chris is awesome. One of the best writers there is. Glad you like the video! You know that you can download Trailer Tapes II off his website now, and the cd will ship out in a couple weeks.Have you got to see him live yet?

    Glad to meet another fan!

  • That last comment is in reply to cashfan85 about Jason Eady.

  • I think Chris probably concentrates more on the song writing end of it and let his band play the solos. I love his sound though....and he`s one of the best writers out there.

  • I have been a fan of Chris Knight from his self titled cd . He just keeps getting better.

Check out Jason Eady --Back to Jackson and--- Waiting to Shine

  • Same here, I love all his stuff!

  • Just got around watching Jason, he has some good stuff! I loved wait to shine! Whats the story behind this guy? He a song writer ?

  • I first heard him on XM's X Country a couple of years back . He is from Mississippi, but now calls Austin, TX home. He has plenty of music to listen to on his website and myspace site.

  • Yeah, he's good. Sounds a little like Bruce doing Atlantic City. full of atmosphere and a voice with character. AND IT'S LIVE...

  • ohhhh kool!!....i like manly voices lol but at the same time still sung sweetly :)

  • Glad you like him, check out some more of his stuff he`s an awesome song writer. One of the few guys that you can buy an album and like every song on it.

  • this guy's gonna be big!

  • So are you a new fan or did you already know about him? I`am hoping to kinda of spread the word about him. He is the best writer I`ve ever heard.

  • I know they play him on KNBT New Braunfels, Tx and I think on KVET Austin, Tx. I've heard Framed, Heart of Stone, Maria, and Hell ain't half full on the radio down here. I wish they played more

  • They don`t play him here, not sure why though. Maybe everybody should start calling and requesting him.

  • Add Dirt to that list. I just heard it on KNBT.

  • Must be great to hear him on the radio...!

  • Must be great to see him play an acoustic show. haha It is great to hear him on the radio.

  • We accept him as one of our own.. a TEXAN!

  • Yea I heard he`s pretty big in Texas. He`s from Kentucky though I belive... Do they play him on the radio in Texas?

  • yea he is from kentucky

  • We have raised the bar on the quality of Chris Knight fan offerings on youtube. Good job! Chris Knight is a true American treasure.

  • I think you might have better videos than me, but if Chris is in them they gotta be good...

  • Somebody disagrees, they outwatch yours 10 to 1.

  • This song is awesome. I hear this song on the radio alot and I can't get enough. I have actually heard quite a few of his songs and can't find one I don't like. By far and away my favorite phrase in this song goes, "i hear people say like father like son, don't think about it much, but I worry 'bout it some". Long live Texas music.

  • Glad they play him on the radio where you are, I can`t seem to get him on the radio where I live. Except interviews on the John Boy and Billy show.....Glad you like the video and thanks for commenting. I`ve got all 6 of his cd`s and they are all awesome. Just trying to spread the word about Kentucky`s finest!

  • I agree.

  • chris has been my favorite since the first time ever heard him bout ten years ago. i grew up on waylon and the guys am literally sick about whats happened to country music. chris and few others from here in tx have truly been a blessing. many thanks for all u posted.

  • Thanks for commenting. I like a lot of differant music, but I`ll agree with you, country is not what it used to be. You really can`t even call it country anymore. I figured I`d put up some of these videos and help spread the word about Chris. Chris is the best writer alive. IMO.

    Thanks

  • yeah i deffinately want this album now!

  • Yea it`s a must have!

  • can't wait to see more these are awesome!

  • Yea this is a pretty catchy song...

  • I think he is awesome Marty. He's got sort of a Steve Earle kinda feel. He has intensity, that's for sure.. he can make you feel it. Cool vid Man

  • Yea I lot of people compare him to Steve Earle. I know Chris also likes a lot of John Prine`s stuff. Chris is an awesome writer.
