In tekken 2 Kazuya fans was disappointed and sad cuz Heihachi throwed Kazuya into lava...In tekken 3 there was no Kazuya, than in tekken 4 Kazuya fans was happy...

Guys, I need some opinions and advice. I've played all the tekken games except for tekken 4. This was due to a friend of mine telling me that it was not worth the money nor time. He hated tekken 4 due to the reason that they "changed" most of the mechanics in the game.

However I've read that tekken 4 takes a more realistic approach to the tekken series. An all the cons my friend has mentioned, are only pros in my book. To the people who still play tekken 4, what am I going to get out of it?

@gomugear2 If your a hard tekken fan. Your probably goona want to try tekken 4. It's almost the same as tekken 5 but it has differences. Plus all the cool prologues and epilogues. Replay save system. Different cool fighting scenes like the beach,mall etc.. Just play it dude!

Tekken 4 is masterpiece the best of the series. With great story line. Has balanced characters best art style and music. Great stages and no idiotic end boss battles. Tekken 5 is the one who brought downfall to the series. And the newer ones with theyr awfull storyline and characters like Kasuya has an brother and that shit.

The only downside to Tekken 4 was that the gameplay was really stiff and unbalanced. But strangely enough l was more disapointed with Tekken 5, even thou it is a big improvement.

@CSSLaven Theres no program that can just take footage from a ps2 or any console for that matter. Think about it, there has to be a way that the console links through your computer. There are a few way to record screen footage. The one I prefer is to use a DVD recorder and DVD+RW disks to record the footage straight to DVD then copy and convert on your computer. If not, google EZYcap, or Capture card for other methods. There is no way to do it for free......

Tekken 4 had the best storyline alright, but it lacked characters. It had a little over half of the characters than in Tekken 3 and less than half of those in Tag Tournament or the follow-up Tekken 5. (Apart, not combined)

TK4 was really gud. if the stages were plenty in number nd wernt so bland nd unleveled (stairs), the characters had more intersting outfit designs, there were more modes, proper hi-res endings, improved TK force, more unlockable stuff, no silly characters like combot/miharu nd a proper story/ending for eddy, had anna nd jack nd had TK5s arcade mode - i wouldnt be affraid to call it the best tekken game ever after tk3 of course. lol long ass list =). TK4 had the best story mode EVER still =)

Tekken 4, in my eyes, was another reason why 2002 was the best year for Playstation 2. Think about it. So many essential classics were being released for this console. Tekken 4, Ratchet and Clank, Kingdom Hearts, GTA Vice City, The Getaway, MGS2, Smackdown Shut Your Mouth...
