Just one question: How did you made those labels (view name and zoom) on the top right of the screen vanish? Did you narrowed the clip view or did you change somthing on FSX to make the labels disappear, it's because I simply can't make videos that occupy the full screen without having cookie cutter effects applied so I can hide those god forsaken labels!

Sony Vegas has a cropping feature. Makes it easy to get rid of that nonsense. Use the Pan/Crop tool.

Actually I had no part of flying in this video at all. It was done by the Blue Eagles aerobatic team. That goes the same for the Beech 18 video as well.

Very nice. As a pilot, it is actually harder to fly a computer flight sim than a real plane (at least from the perspective of 3D spatial relations).

The TrackIR has helped a lot in the flight sims, to be able to just look around to get the feel for where you are in space.

This video shows that with practice, skill and the right equipment (fast computer, TrackIR, HOTAS controllers), the realism gets better and better.

I masked the lower half of the shot and applied a blur effect to it. Look up a tutorial on masking for sony vegas, it should take you through the basics.

Oh that wasn't directed to the Blue Eagles, they are more than welcome to use the scenery. It was directed to the Flying Bulls.

They're actually christian eagle aerobatic planes. The custom paint jobs were done by one of the members of the Blue Eagles themselves. As for your second question, I would talk to the Blue Eagles' about that one ;)

David is correct, the aircraft are actually Christen Eagle II v540's with custom paints that we made in house. As far as how we do what we do, lots and lots of practice. Feel free to look for us in Skype or when we have sessions open in GameSpy, we are always willing to teach people how to fly aerobatics and formation.

i dont kown if they did it this way but i saw a trick some where with fsx player where you play one and fly with a recording and record that with fraps to look like 2 planes but there is only on at a time being flowen the seccond is a pre flown copy playing back sulmotanusly

You, it's called track shifting. It's self explanatory, you record a flight, duplicate it and shift it away from the original flight path and now you have 2 planes in perfect formation. However the formation looks totally fake when you do it, and it was not how this video was done.

Yeah, you can get the fsx version of the model at simviation, it won't come with the Blue Eagle paint job because it's a custom texture.

Don't feel sorry that I had to edit this so much because I actually enjoy the Blue Eagles' show and I enjoy making movies, hence why I made 25 of them so far. Truth is that I chose to add special editing into this, the performance by itself was amazing and this video only shows few of the maneuvers that they execute with absolute professionalism. You gotta see them perform, it's very amazing.

My settings were on low when I filmed this and to get the HD quality on youtube I had to upload this video in a 1280 x 720 resolution. Look up tutorial vids on how to get HD in sony vegas, there's dozens of them.
