The "jungle music" line is regrettable. However, featuring the artists and having women smoke cigars was forward for the time.

"Why the jungle music?" Without doubt the most offensive line ever uttered on the Avengers, and one of the worst in the history of British TV. Jarringly brutal even now, especially when you consider the general light relief context of the show.
