I had an eastsheen 2x2, and hated it. It had terrible corner cutting and was very tight and you cant tension it. I now have the LanLan 2x2 it's WAAAAAY better.

1. i have the same cube as your rubiks 1 extended but mine has all 6 faces extended. it turns pretty bad but maybe i can make a video of it or even my collection x]

2. the rubik's revolution is terrible. i agree with your opinion. their latest puzzle, the rubik's slide, is preferably better than the revolution but it still doesn't count as rubik's puzzle.

I got a free set of Eastsheen cubes from Gaming Lagoon, but they are very fragile.

I dropped my 5x5 and ALL the pieces fell apart.

I bagged them up but I am missing a piece. I felt that it would be easier to get another one rather than buy a replacement piece.

My Eastsheen 4x4 fell apart when I was using it, so I feel the same way about it as I do my 5x5.

My 2x2 is great, it's gotten a little harder to turn over time, any suggestions on loosening or lubricating it?

lol I can't explain to well but you make a mold out of this stuff and then when then mold sets you pour these chemicles into a cup mix it and then ppour it in the mold slowly before it's open time runs out and after 5 minuets or so it will be a plastic piece like the one you molded... if you want a beeter explanation watch a channel called tapplastics

That would actually be my ex-main 3x3.

Yeppers, that was the first 3x3 I ever had: a Rubik's Brand from the clear hexagonal box. It's not so much the brand that makes it nice as the thousands of solves that have broken it in. Yes those are smooth tiles.

The cube I use now is a transparent blue DiY. It's a beast.

15 puzzle and 2x2 are both very easy to find. I got my 15 puzzle at "Kites and Other Delights", but I've also seen it at almost every other puzzle shop. For example, "The Science Shop" and that new "Toys GO!" store in the mall.

2x2s can be bought at Zellers, Wal Mart, Toys R Us, et cetera, et cetera...

The 3x3x4 was stiff because it was just sanded. When you sand a cube you should not clean it out because the bits of plastic inside will sand and polish even more!! so the 3x3x4 was tight because it was full of stuff. Now it's uber-loose.

As for megaminxes, they are worth getting (PVC brand is quite nice and only 7 dollars). I just ordered FOUR from cubefans. (I hope my parents don't read this LOL) They are fun to solve and it will give you an excuse to watch my megaminx tutorial.

Extend whichever layer you want. Usually people extend the top, but it might be cool to extend the bottom or sides.
