The reason they are is because they're not on the same console as the person thats playing. He's playing over Xbox Live, so the others are more transparent so they're not distracting. If you notice, the guitar track is at full non-transparency. If you were playing on the drummers console, it would be solid and the rest would be transparent. Get it?

I think that that's a Xbox Live Glitch that occurs occasionally, atleast from what I hear, if you look at the end it says he got 100%, so unless he overstrummed or strummed where there wasn't a note, he hit every note (Oh, and btw: If you overstrum but hit every note you still get credit for 100%)
