So what do you propose? to stop having english as most common language and at the same time learn the south americans to speak their native languages ? (Mayan or whatever it was then)? just accept the facts, english is widely spoken. Spanish is widely spoken as well. Chinese, is spoken by more than both languages combines (probbly); it doesnt mean that everybody should speak chinese. English is a fact that is the most commonly spoken language (not the native language of most populations)
