The kid taking the video was a long time LA/ OC zine publisher. He took photos all the time from the back of the stage. He wasn't trying to take pictures of her ass, he was taking photos for his zine.

Part of documenting a live Bikini Kill show is Hanna dancing around in her underwear, so I'm not sure how exactly he's supposed to NOT get a picture with her ass in it.
