the US version indeed DOES 1080p, but only on 24fps.
the european version (which I own) only does 1080i and only at 50fps.
i am still going to figure out if I can install the US firmware, because I like to film at 1080p myself. Why it has been deleted in the Eur version, i have no idea. :S
I don't have the camera but i think you can make as many 10sec (300fps) videos as you want (if you have free card memory) but 1st you need to save each one of them ...
This 10sec max is probably due to internal fast memory size - correct me if i'm wrong :)

this thing doesn't do 1080p.. only 1080i.. (i checked samsung's website myself)

I own the camera and it does 1090i and 1080p at 30fps.
