ok instead of taping a+b for the first move just hold them down together and you'll do the "Vault" move... please respond if this works :)

Could you take a look at my video response? I don't get Altaïr to flank earlier, no matter what I do. I want him to flank over the first beam.

How do you exactly do that?

Try using the empty hand button before jumping, timing it ok so you don't hang at the roof.

So fast after eachother: empty hand +jump

Both in hight profile ofcourse.

Doesn't work here. If I'm running (High Profile + Legs) towards the edge of a house and then press Free Hand (and even release and press Legs again), Altaïr will just hold his hands up as to catch something, but jump to the next beam as usual.

Or isn't it possible while running?

I went to see how it works for you. And I almost would have said it is impossible:

-I've tried several times, different ways, mostly he does it to late or he just drops himself of the building.

As you see in the video, there is also a just drop me 'move'. The keys to use this 'move' are almost the same as the hope & over one. Making the building react like you want to fall off. In bars the drop me 'move' doesn't work, so no probs there.

Hm, wait. What is it Altaïr is sitting on? Is it a normal roof or is it a narrow bridge? Because on a roof he wouldn't be sitting like that.

regarding the 'hop over' move i would also suggest, holding the off hand button while u atempt this instead of trying to time it perfectly, and you can do it on bars without anything below them if you hold the offhand button. good vid btw

You have to make sure there is a bar under it, you just keep jumping, and when you reach the bar before the one you want to hop over, you ALSO (don't release the other ones) press the empty hand one =)
