I doubt Silva could even make 170... but even if he could, it'd be a bad idea. The only losses Silva ever had were at 170 - the Chonan & Takase losses were at 170. Silva needs to stay at MW or move to 205 & KO Jones. Silva/GSP isn't very intriguing... GSP is too small - he wouldn't be able to manhandle Silva like he does to the WW's & he wouldn't be able to jab & run for 5 rounds. Silva would KO GSP quick. Thinking that a fighter is winning just because he landed more shots is very narrow minded. The fact is - Machida landed the better shots - thus outstriking Jones. i'm a huge Silva fan. As most people should be, he is arguably the greatest MMA fighter in UFC history. I agreed with everything Dana said tho. I almost shut my TV off by the 3rd round, it wasn't even entertaining at the point. Doing something here and there is , but not for a solid 3 rounds and then walk around the last 2. Although, I agree with a lot of comments, don't throw these guys who have no chance. Throw in GSP... now we get Okami? Decent fight, but, what happened to GSP fighting silva?
