All this equipment, but i bet you don't have a top 100 hit on the radio. i see a lot of video of people's home studios and they never once, say hey i produce this song, that may of heard on the radio or i produced this artist, that have a couple hit songs out. No your never here that on youtube, but all you hear is how much stuff i have in my studio, that is collecting dust.
@apple2011 sorry about the post, i must of posted my response to the wrong person. I had a couple youtube vids open at that time. you have some nice keyboards, and your music is great. keep up the work. nice monitors krk's, i have krk rockit 6 and they do sound nice.
is this studio for fun? have you had any tracks released? also, do you find it really necessary to use those external rack effects, especially the compression? I ask this because it seems like most DAW's have really nice compression tools, and there's a ton of VST's that have even better ones. I personally love having gear, but I'm up in the air about buying rack effects.
@ugroove2this1 Hi thanks for the questions. If I did not enjoy it I would not have bought all the equipment so It is for fun and for the love of dance music profit comes in 3rd. I have done gigs in Frankfurt Germany in the Omen and also the Lofthouse and on radio HR3 Clubnight and also Evosonic Radio in Koln. I have been making music since 1993. I am releasing singles out on iTunes and Indaba music. I make these videos to help folks who want to learn some of the basics.
@ugroove2this1 - So some of the racks that I have are older prior to the great software they have out now. So the answer would be no it's not necessary to use all the racks in todays music world. But I will use them because I have them and they have great sounds. I compress everything through Logic to get my sound the way it should sound. If they had the kind of software they have now I would not have bought all the racks that I have now. Some gear is more like a collectors item to me. :)
@sordsmen3456 - So when I bought my gear music production software that included virtual instruments was just starting and the technology was new so if you wanted to be more flexible with the mix it was necessary to have more than one synth. 16 seq tracks per synth went into a mixer all tracks controled by the mixer = good song. Now days most songs can be done right from the computer.
@sordsmen3456 - I link all my keyboards and sound modules to one synth because it's easier and faster to be able switch to a diffrent keyboard from the computer. Let's say I want a nice basiline sound and I know one of my keyboards has that sound I can change the midi output to that keyboard and keep moving along with the song. I have no reason to go to a diffrent synth each tome I record a new track. Also I can see the screen when I'm playing sound which helps.
@2650h4rdstyl3r -Hey man thanks for checking out my studio. Well I would say that's a tough question both are awsome. Access makes great gear which one of the two are better for making hardstye. I would say ti2 would be better for hardstyle trance but the virus c would do well too. Please sub to my vids for new video's they are all most for making music and some just fun stuff.
Awesome, great studio! Big love from the UK

Hey, why does almost every studio I see have more then 1 synth, and what's the point of connecting them and making on a master and the other a slave?
