Aion - The Basics Of Learning The Alchemy Profession

Aionguy, I have been leveling up with the highest level work order. It appears to be going well (not failing much). Why do you feel doing the lowest level work order is better? Especially when you have to start buying materials. I don't have much Kinnah to spend doing the lower level orders 80 times vs doing the higher level one 40 times. Is there some other reason I am just not seeing?

Hey, Is it worth it to do the "lowest lvl possible" trick at the begin? the recipes at the lower levels won't be that important right? I'm doing cooking, But I think it's the same^^

Good thinking there. At the lower levels it isn't as important as it is at higher levels.

We're not sure yet. But it will be one of the NA servers on the East Coast.

It's actually better than playing on Euro servers. We get to do things when most NA people are sleeping =)

It will depend on a lot of things. Such as the server you're playing on, or the big guilds that might have picked 1 race. It's hard to tell.

Good thing you picked alchemy, it's so useful.

What does alchemy do? You make your weapons such as a polearm or sword?? Do you get to make its states like add things to it?? really appreciate if you can explain. sorry for your time ;)

With alchemy you can only craft orbs and spell books. Those are the only weapons you can craft. Other than that, it's used for making potions, scrolls, and upgrading manastones

Why would one want to level slower?

Very good question. When you hand in a work order, you get a reward. And the rewards everyone will be after, are designs. Every level of work order only gives a certain type of designs.

To get the most designs (and not skip 1 or more) you'll have to level your alchemy (and other professions) as slow as possible.
