well i i dont think you need it, i spun 4 hour hip-hop fsets for about 2 years just using vinyl. I prefer using vinyl because of the sound quality and the fact that people can see what you are doing. Carrying multiple crates of records for gigs and having to dig for records is what turned me away from vinyl....

i agree with the extended edits comment, can't entertain a crowd by playing it safe man. Throw some flava in the mix to get them going. This is a very dry mix. But as far as the mixing goes, you def know how to beat match whether it be looking at serato or not. So do yourself a favor now as a dj. take your skills to the next step now. But keep it at it man, you have the common ground to be good =)

like someone mentioned already, you are pitching some songs down too far. my piece of advice is, if you're gonna mix in something thats a lot faster than the track you're playing, split the difference. basically instead of just pitching track B down too far, pitch track A up some and B down some and that way your bends won't be so dramatic and are less noticeable
