If they made the Stories of Evil into a broadway show, it would make millions!!! Not just for the people that know it but it's just that good that regular people would see it to! People that have never even heard of the Vocaloids. They could have all the songs and everything as they go through the story!! It could be a drama, brother sister complex, romance, tragedy, musical of some sort :D
I will admit at first I was all like "This is going to be bad.." By the end I was crying so beautiful well done well done. I love you forevcrs now person
Whoa, okay wow, seriously, first I really began to like Servant of Evil before I deemed the Classical version better, but wow, this version of the song, to me, sounds absolutely amazing, and beautiful.
At first, I honestly laughed. I didn't want to, but I did. But as the song went on I began to tear up. The music was amazing and the lyrics will FOREVER make me cry.
@TsubasaChung I feel the same. Perhaps because Len sound more like a 14-year-old servant? ^^ The person singing this sounds a bit too masculine and aged...
Opera (English plural: operas; Italian plural: opere) is an art form in which singers and musicians perform a dramatic work combining text (called a libretto) and musical score, usually in a theatrical setting. Opera incorporates many of the elements of spoken theatre, such as acting, scenery, and costumes and sometimes includes dance. The performance is typically given in an opera house, accompanied by an orchestra or smaller musical ensemble.
Opera is part of the Western classical music tradition and started in Italy at the end of the 16th century (with Jacopo Peri's lost Dafne, produced in Florence around 1597) and soon spread through the rest of Europe: Schütz in Germany, Lully in France, and Purcell in England all helped to establish their national traditions in the 17th century.
In the 18th century, Italian opera continued to dominate most of Europe, except France, attracting foreign composers such as Handel. Opera seria was the most prestigious form of Italian opera, until Gluck reacted against its artificiality with his "reform" operas in the 1760s.
Today the most renowned figure of late 18th century opera is Mozart, who began with opera seria but is most famous for his Italian comic operas, especially The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Così fan tutte, as well as The Magic Flute, a landmark in the German tradition.
The first third of the 19th century saw the highpoint of the bel canto style, with Rossini, Donizetti and Bellini all creating works that are still performed today. It also saw the advent of Grand Opera typified by the works of Meyerbeer. The mid-to-late 19th century was a "golden age" of opera, led and dominated by Wagner in Germany and Verdi in Italy.
The popularity of opera continued through the verismo era in Italy and contemporary French opera through to Puccini and Strauss in the early 20th century. During the 19th century, parallel operatic traditions emerged in central and eastern Europe, particularly in Russia and Bohemia.
The 20th century saw many experiments with modern styles, such as atonality and serialism (Schoenberg and Berg), Neoclassicism (Stravinsky), and Minimalism (Philip Glass and John Adams). With the rise of recording technology, singers such as Enrico Caruso became known to audiences beyond the circle of opera fans. Operas were also performed on (and written for) radio and television.
@jmj23435 He wasn't always treated like that- Rin was selfish, but she was brought up that way. She wasn't always cruel to Len. She shares her Brioche with him in some versions, and really, she's just selfish mostly. She cares for Len, but her wishes come before his. That's really how it is. I have a twin brother and I'm a girl, so I can understand Len pretty well.
If I get 30 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub WITH the girl's voice and the last verse. Not sure about the bells and the guillotine.
If I get 50 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub WITH all three missing things.
If I get 100 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub AND a French fandub with all three missing things.
I-I-I'm sorry! ;__; I r-really want to do this, so as to k-keep my promise there too, b-but I already said it... I-I can't f-find the instrumental!!!! I-if you, or... or anyone actually have it, then pl-please send it to me... ;__; I'd-I'd do it r-right away, if only I can find the in...instrumental! ;_____________; *cries*
@AgainstDeleteOfVideo but that's the classical version. I already got that, and many people made classical dubs already - there's even a nico chorus (which is really awesome). I need the instrumental of this opera version. It's different, you know.
Amazing! I LOVE IT !!!! But then again I love Phantom of the Opera soooo..... Also I really agree with what user name ThatWeirdGirl2010 said about three things missing being a female singing the part of Rin during the execution, the sounds of the bells and the guillotine blade, and the last verse of the song.
@tsukinaka Thanks :D um.... Mind telling me what is a "nico singer"? I also saw "you tube singers" somewhere, who are they? ^^" I sorry fro asking so many questions. I would appreciate if someone can answer them.. ...I asked for a lot of times and no one ever replied me ^^" So thanks again :D

@Senryushizuka Mmhm. though some of them do get signed along the way, and a handful do have a background history of being pro singers. xD Most of them just cover songs though. owo

@tsukinaka O_O wow.... it's kinda complicated :P thanks for ALL the explanation :) I really appreciate it! :D Let's continue to support ALL those singers out there! :D thanks!
I got goosebumps and shivers down my spines... I cried and nearly screamed and threw up, from the sadness... The strength in this voice is just undescribeable...
And my love for Len and this story - nothing will EVER get anymore sad, than the story of Servant of Evil...
And this above, is told from a 20 year old boy - me
What I liked most about this is that it shows Len's pain when he serves Rin's snack, and she is laughing "innocently". I always thought that it was weird how Len was always happy during that part, when we all know that he was falling apart inside. I mean, ya, he was acting, but I thought he should show some sort of sad, or frustrated look during that. This added a mood of sadness that was appropriate to that scene. I love this so much!!
i only noticed now.. the bangos [sp] - the two little drums that you just beat on your lap.. sounds really good here :D.. i pretty seem to know a little about this since im partly an orchestra XD
I really love the beat of the song.. The beats of the drums, percussion is so precise and in good rhythm with the chorus which again gave me goosebumps.. one day i wanna build an orchestra that will play this song...... XD
@ThatWeirdGirl2010 you forgot about the english subs.. i want to show this to people who insult Vocaloid, and make them suffer by crying tears HARDCORE!
It was like watching servant of evil again for the first time. And I really wanted to feel like that again ^^ It was awesome! I remeber when I watch servant of evil for the first time. And I got the same feeling. And I have watched it several times. But this time I felt like I did the first. It's amasing. I got shivers.
oh my gosh.... I thought all of my tears had dried out for this song just because I listened to it way too much... but this opera version.....! TTATT who knew I still had tears left in me for this song!!! *oddly happy about this*
That's really great! Opera vercion suits this song and that way it has even nore emotional power - thanks to that vigorous voice notes in refrains. Mothy continues to impress us with amasing compositions. Thank you, creators of that one **
I.....I think I just died a little inside T^T

That's really great! Opera vercion suits this song and that way it has even nore emotional power - thanks to that vigorous voice notes in refrains. Mothy continues to impress us with amasing compositions. Thank you, creators of that one **
