  • I.....I think I just died a little inside T^T

  • If they made the Stories of Evil into a broadway show, it would make millions!!! Not just for the people that know it but it's just that good that regular people would see it to! People that have never even heard of the Vocaloids. They could have all the songs and everything as they go through the story!! It could be a drama, brother sister complex, romance, tragedy, musical of some sort :D

  • Len is much beautiful as a princess.

  • @thezedjawater I believe it's rin, but still in the pv he does.

  • -Clapping+Crying-

  • I will admit at first I was all like "This is going to be bad.." By the end I was crying so beautiful well done well done. I love you forevcrs now person

  • I've got permanent goosebumps nao...

  • I LOVE this version!!!!

And I noticed that in the backround music, I could hear a drum set and conga drums playing....

    Awesome!

  • i always thought the classical version was the best...

    sooooooooooo wrong..

  • やばい涙が止まらん

  • He sounds like Lauran!!!!t <3 <3 I'm in love~

  • Does anyone have the instrumental for this? I can't find it anywhere, and this one is impossible to remove the vocal ;_; I don't know why >_<

I'm having a sore throat anyway, and I need to find the instrumental before I get my voice back, or I'll lose my voice again...

  • @EnbitoMiruku

    I'd love to have the instrumental too ;_;

  • This is sadder than the original I am moved

  • Whoa, okay wow, seriously, first I really began to like Servant of Evil before I deemed the Classical version better, but wow, this version of the song, to me, sounds absolutely amazing, and beautiful.

  • 何度もオリジナルとクラシックバージョンで泣いたはずなのに、このアレンジでまた泣いちまった…

  • Comment removed

  • At first, I honestly laughed. I didn't want to, but I did. But as the song went on I began to tear up. The music was amazing and the lyrics will FOREVER make me cry.

  • @EnbitoMiruku haha thanks!

  • The PV is very nice but the feeling from this isn't actually as sad compared to when Kagamine Len sings it.

It may be just me but I feel like the voice was the only drawback on this one.

    However, it's still sad.

  • @TsubasaChung I feel the same. Perhaps because Len sound more like a 14-year-old servant? ^^ The person singing this sounds a bit too masculine and aged...

  • me gusta bastante

  • Who's singing this?

  • Opera (English plural: operas; Italian plural: opere) is an art form in which singers and musicians perform a dramatic work combining text (called a libretto) and musical score, usually in a theatrical setting. Opera incorporates many of the elements of spoken theatre, such as acting, scenery, and costumes and sometimes includes dance. The performance is typically given in an opera house, accompanied by an orchestra or smaller musical ensemble.

  • Opera is part of the Western classical music tradition and started in Italy at the end of the 16th century (with Jacopo Peri's lost Dafne, produced in Florence around 1597) and soon spread through the rest of Europe: Schütz in Germany, Lully in France, and Purcell in England all helped to establish their national traditions in the 17th century.

  • In the 18th century, Italian opera continued to dominate most of Europe, except France, attracting foreign composers such as Handel. Opera seria was the most prestigious form of Italian opera, until Gluck reacted against its artificiality with his "reform" operas in the 1760s.

  • Today the most renowned figure of late 18th century opera is Mozart, who began with opera seria but is most famous for his Italian comic operas, especially The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Così fan tutte, as well as The Magic Flute, a landmark in the German tradition.

  • The first third of the 19th century saw the highpoint of the bel canto style, with Rossini, Donizetti and Bellini all creating works that are still performed today. It also saw the advent of Grand Opera typified by the works of Meyerbeer. The mid-to-late 19th century was a "golden age" of opera, led and dominated by Wagner in Germany and Verdi in Italy.

  • The popularity of opera continued through the verismo era in Italy and contemporary French opera through to Puccini and Strauss in the early 20th century. During the 19th century, parallel operatic traditions emerged in central and eastern Europe, particularly in Russia and Bohemia.

  • The 20th century saw many experiments with modern styles, such as atonality and serialism (Schoenberg and Berg), Neoclassicism (Stravinsky), and Minimalism (Philip Glass and John Adams). With the rise of recording technology, singers such as Enrico Caruso became known to audiences beyond the circle of opera fans. Operas were also performed on (and written for) radio and television.

  • I just love the way he says BRRIIIIIIIIIIOOCHHEEE, it sounds so beautiful <3

  • *standing ovation*

  • I got goosebumps ...

  • why does len look ummm miserable?

  • @TheAwesomeSectionC He ha to kill the girl he loves. And be treated like a pack mule/slave by his sister. I'd feel miserable to.

  • @jmj23435 He wasn't always treated like that- Rin was selfish, but she was brought up that way. She wasn't always cruel to Len. She shares her Brioche with him in some versions, and really, she's just selfish mostly. She cares for Len, but her wishes come before his. That's really how it is. I have a twin brother and I'm a girl, so I can understand Len pretty well.

  • WTF why every time I sing this song... I cry

  • btw, anyone notice? Rin wears her hair the same way as Marie Antoinette (when she was young)!

  • なんかすごいゾクゾクしたー‼

    リズムが違うところがまた・・・いい‼

  • If I get 30 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub WITH the girl's voice and the last verse. Not sure about the bells and the guillotine.

If I get 50 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub WITH all three missing things.

If I get 100 thumbs up and no thumb down, I will do a Japanese fandub AND a French fandub with all three missing things.

Would you like to have story telling voiceover?

my voice is terrible but I think this is fun :3

  • @EnbitoMiruku 51 so far... I hope you do that =D I'd love to hear.

  • @EnbitoMiruku Do you happen to know where the instrumental is? Since you posted the comment, I assume you'd need it. And I can't find it, so...

  • @EnbitoMiruku DO IT NOW!!!

  • @AgainstDeleteOfVideo

I-I-I'm sorry! ;__; I r-really want to do this, so as to k-keep my promise there too, b-but I already said it... I-I can't f-find the instrumental!!!! I-if you, or... or anyone actually have it, then pl-please send it to me... ;__; I'd-I'd do it r-right away, if only I can find the in...instrumental! ;_____________; *cries*

  • @EnbitoMiruku v=hhY5kKvwxFU .__.

  • @AgainstDeleteOfVideo but that's the classical version. I already got that, and many people made classical dubs already - there's even a nico chorus (which is really awesome). I need the instrumental of this opera version. It's different, you know.

  • @EnbitoMiruku That is basically impossible 8'D

I'll try to find another unique version for you

  • Amazing! I LOVE IT !!!! But then again I love Phantom of the Opera soooo..... Also I really agree with what user name ThatWeirdGirl2010 said about three things missing being a female singing the part of Rin during the execution, the sounds of the bells and the guillotine blade, and the last verse of the song.

  • The paintings and the people cheering really makes it seem like the French Revolution...What a beautiful, amazing PV.

  • For those of you who want the mp3!

nicosound. anyap. info/ sound/ sm13111059 (but without the spaces)

  • actually, I like opera and this is beautiful!!!!

  • It sounds like if Kaito were singin :O

  • OMG. THIS IS INCREDIBLE . I NEED THIS MP3

  • Замечательно

  • I think I just fell in love with opera

  • This is one of the best 'Servant of Evil's I have seen so far!

  • On 1:50 I've got chills.

    This is fckng awesome!! :'D

  • love it! i always felt this would make such a dramatic opera!

  • I want to listen to this song in real life by this tenor >//<

  • I wish there was a Maid of Evil opera version to match this...

  • @SuperGreatSphinx is not even official...

  • This is till able to make me cry...

    Damn...

But I wonder if cancer would be cured if Chuck Norris watched this...?

  • @tankOdrum2 lolol where did that come from?

  • Holy shit! What is this eargasm that I'm having? ._.

  • i have always hated this song... but now i love it!! >w<

  • LEN DIDN'T DIE IN THIS VERSION!!! HURRAY!!!

  • D: ....So...beautiful D':> ...Never heard it sung so beautifully before D:> but theres just one little teeny tiny problem... Just one

No epic sound of the guillotine D:

  • @zenofan1 They did show the hangman thingy, though.

  • @SuperNekofan yeah but I didn't really get that.

  • @zenofan1 but that was a clear artistic decision, along with cutting the last line

  • @BobVonBobbi yeah

  • who is the singer?? i love this song

  • Damn it Mothy, why so depressing.

And Opera just makes it even sadder...

    Emo Jerk

  • Damn it Mothy, why do you make such sad songs all the time.

    Emo jerk.

And why an Opera it's too sad in this style.

    Too depressing... ;_;

  • por instinto aplaudi al final xD hermoso me quede sin palabras

  • This song steps up into a whole new level once again. :'D It became one of the songs that could make me cry. TuT

Also if anyone wants to know who's singing, it's Yuuda. 雄大. Loving his arrange ttm.

  • @tsukinaka Excuse me, but do you mind telling me who he is? As in is he a seiyuu or sth else?

  • @Senryushizuka He's a singer from Nico Nico Douga, a Japanese video sharing site.

You could search 雄大 歌ってみた on YT for his other songs. ^^

  • @tsukinaka Thanks :D um.... Mind telling me what is a "nico singer"? I also saw "you tube singers" somewhere, who are they? ^^" I sorry fro asking so many questions. I would appreciate if someone can answer them.. ...I asked for a lot of times and no one ever replied me ^^" So thanks again :D

  • @Senryushizuka No worries. :] But this would probably describe it better (and accurately) than me. ^^ bit. ly/ q0KDcD

Basically NND singers are like YT singers, but they're people from Japan I guess. Since they all are singers on NND.

Youtube singers are just people like you and me, singing songs we like and posting them. :P

  • @tsukinaka Thanks for the info :) .... another question ... ^^" so the NND and YT singers are ANYONE who sings songs and them posts them? I'm pretty sure that I came a cross a video about a concert held by NND singers... I even thought they're in a contract or sth ^^" stupid me~ thanks~ :D

  • @Senryushizuka Mmhm. though some of them do get signed along the way, and a handful do have a background history of being pro singers. xD Most of them just cover songs though. owo

They do have concerts/ meetings to gather NND people of the same interest, if I'm not wrong. There are medleys like the Nico Nico Kumikyoku and Ryuuseigun where they meet up together, and individual concerts for like...Sekihan and Piko? xD

  • @tsukinaka O_O wow.... it's kinda complicated :P thanks for ALL the explanation :) I really appreciate it! :D Let's continue to support ALL those singers out there! :D thanks!

  • @Senryushizuka It is. xD You're welcome~ :] I'm glad to see more people being interested in Vocaloid and supporting these wonderful singers. <3

  • @tsukinaka :3 i'm sure that more and more people will like and support them after they know their awesomeness :D

  • God, this is such a sad song...

  • I like your background music, would you send me?

  • I got goosebumps and shivers down my spines... I cried and nearly screamed and threw up, from the sadness... The strength in this voice is just undescribeable...

And my love for Len and this story - nothing will EVER get anymore sad, than the story of Servant of Evil...

And this above, is told from a 20 year old boy - me

  • I thought I had run out of tears... I GUESS NOT!

  • goosebumps....

  • 0.0

  • This is extremely beautiful. I don't know who sung this, but he is a true talent.

  • sounds creepy. O.o *angry mob approaches..* AGHHH!! okay! its NICE! nah joke this is really weird.. *gets shot...*

  • s-s-sugoi :O estoy llorando T.T es tan hermoso

  • ...This might just be the most wonderful thing on the internet. TuT

  • Servant of Evil is my most favorite vocaloid song ever. The series is beautiful, every song is beautiful, but this one has to be the best to me.

Just when I thought this song couldn't get anymore beautiful, I find this.

  • ??? so did you make this or is this like an official one released?

    I really like the combination of 2D and 3D here~ :)

  • ??? so did you make this or is this like an official one released?

  • What I liked most about this is that it shows Len's pain when he serves Rin's snack, and she is laughing "innocently". I always thought that it was weird how Len was always happy during that part, when we all know that he was falling apart inside. I mean, ya, he was acting, but I thought he should show some sort of sad, or frustrated look during that. This added a mood of sadness that was appropriate to that scene. I love this so much!!

  • @Drayleanvros1024 I want to thumb-up you over and over <3

  • EPIC!!!!

  • This was so awesome that I found myself clapping unconsciously at the end of the video

  • i only noticed now.. the bangos [sp] - the two little drums that you just beat on your lap.. sounds really good here :D.. i pretty seem to know a little about this since im partly an orchestra XD

  • I really love the beat of the song.. The beats of the drums, percussion is so precise and in good rhythm with the chorus which again gave me goosebumps.. one day i wanna build an orchestra that will play this song...... XD

  • ... wow... just... wow...

I'm surprised... this sounds so powerful.

  • すばらしい。♥

  • I believe only three things were missing:

    1) A female singing the part of Rin during the execution.

2)The sounds of the bells and the guillotine blade.

3)The last verse of the song.

Other than that, this is pure awesome. :)

  • THAT...WAS...AMAZING!!!

  • Is there an instrumental for this?

  • Can i made a MMD?

  • @MsSathini What do you mean exactly?

  • *eargasm*

  • That's really great! Opera vercion suits this song and that way it has even nore emotional power - thanks to that vigorous voice notes in refrains. Mothy continues to impress us with amasing compositions. Thank you, creators of that one **
