I own k800i for three years now and use it all the time. I have grown quite fond of it. In retrospect, I am actually amazed what it endured with me. It's like a Kalashnikov rifle, it resists abuse and continues to perform admirably beyond the call of duty. In the beginning I was worried about the camera lens switch/lid bit it still performs like the day I bought it. Also the keys and joystick still work perfectly on mine.In fact, I'm gonna go and pet it now! :)

Nice review.

The reason why your joystick doesn't respond so well is probably due to dust/dirt accumulation at the base. It's a design weakness that thankfully SE no longer use with their newer cybershot phones.

You could try giving the joystick base a good clean (if you are up to it, you could dismantle the casing & remove the joystick button carefully, and give it a good clean with a brush and airblower), which should fix the problem.

and to send a call just press down on the joy stick
