Madonna did the reinvention thing way before Christina. CHristina even admits to copying Madonna. Take her lastest tour for example. And this interview. It looks like she's been watching "Truth Or Dare" with Madonna a little too much lol!! She copies Lady Gaga's style and sound which is dance music but, unlike Lady Gaga, Christina sucks at making dance music and should quit at it immediately.

her passion for what she does, for her music is so obvious in this interview, it's really inspiring to me, especially in this particular interview, she does all these hand gestures and faces and is so into what she's talking about, trying to explain every detail of everything. yeah.. anyway, it just inspires me.

I like Chrisitna but she needs to shut her mouth sometimes. It seems like everytime she has an albumn to release, she starts drama with another celebrity. Eminem, Britney, Mariah...etc! Like our parents told us, "dont say anything if you have nothing nice to say."

She also didn't start drama with Eminem, he talked badly about her in one of his songs.

wut's teh deal- if she talks like she doesn't care, if she talk slike britney and makes it fun, then people don't take her seriously, if she tlak sformal for an interviw then people think she's arrogant, id on't get it. I read an interview that said her new album is inspired from Andy Warhol, Pop art, the 60's, and also her favorite city/culture- Tokyo. SUch a crazy mix!! I am excited as well :)

just for the the record, most likely Christina's upcoming album will be out in mid 2009. she takes a long time to create albums. But it's worth it because they have no fillers and she's pretty much the one of the only singers out today that actually cares about their album and don't just want to rush something out. Also, I read that she's going to do a duet with Whitney, which has been confirmed and she's being featured in timbabland's new hip hop album in early 2009. She just keeps on growing.

I don't see how any of that is relevant I asked if christina writes her own music or not. She talks about her inspiration so yeah in a sense what she is doing has been done before but actually she is a very creative and original artist.
