there are clips on the sides of the aluminum coating of the keypad. you can easily pop it out to clean inside the removable key pad.

to be honest it not very hard to take off yur keyboard, my laptop keyboard broke and i got a replacement, took a max of ten minutes to take off old and put in new for real.

Gently vacuum the keyboard with an attachment will work too but not for bigger pieces. Wouldn't risk taking my laptop apart for this unless it was affecting performance!

hello! thx 4 the vid...in my opinion it was in perfect speed and very helpful since i was looking 4 a vid to help me clean my laptop thoroughly n not just by blowing bits out from the side gaps n all..

n for ppl who sed it was too fast..

isnt it kinda obvious tht u would just lightly clean the inside of the laptop? y would he have to play that in slow-motion lol...

n i dont get how ppl think its complicated either...im just hoping my laptop will open up the same way as the Dell in the vid

Hey man nice vid, your keyboard is similar to mine on Gateway7809u. My problem is some juice made my keyboard a lil sticky, its working fine, but its annoying me. Is there a product I can use on it that will clean it furthermore than a brush?

I usually use cotton swabs dipped in a little amount of alcohol or water.
