@LeonaRulez I'm on Windows 7 and the game still works for me. The only problem is that you have to buy this game again in its latest version, made by The Learning Company with Direct X. Although, the game is dirt cheap on Amazon.

@LeonaRulez What operating system are you working on? I have Vista with a 'only use with up to XP' disc and it works for me. All you need to do is go on your start menu, find zoombinis and right click it > properties > compatability tab > check 'run this program in compatability mode for' and then select windows 98/ME.

Now try playing it again and it should work :)

Seriously, this brings back so many awesome memories from my childhood. It's a shame no more Zoombinis came out other than the 3, and honestly I prefer the 2D graphics over the 3D ones. Maaan this was an awesome game, and since I was so young, I don't remember any of the puzzles in detail, so I can enjoy the game fully again! Ah man, I loved Zoombinis, especially because I didn't know I was learning! lol

But I remember having to take the last 6 or so and then at their new place they had all these fireworks and a happy-la-la cutscene. That's about it, but I'd do it all over again if it still worked on my computer XD

I'm sad I never beat this game. But the levels got too hard too fast (why try saving the entire group if the next time around it will become harder) and the CD always seemed to have problems...

You wouldn't think a good novelization of a game like this would be possible, but somehow, the author of Saetwo's Story manages to absolutely knock it out of the park, giving us a fascinating take on the events of Z:LJ that is a pleasure to read...

I used to play this game in grade school with My friend and other classmates (the teacher there was like a second Mother to Me shes priciple of the school now) though I'm even more poor at math than I was back then so I always had a hard time with the game at later difficulties. Plus I could never get every single Zoombini I had past the Fleens part. personally I don't care if they can't get every single different look for each Zoombini so long as there is a fair amount. Saving game sprites to our PC's extternal hardrive is somewhat of a collecting thing to me, they do serve a purpose other than that now though since I've been making some itno Animal Crossing patterns I think I've found a reason for them rather than getting a good collecting feeling. Also I wish there was an online or downloadable version of *2bcont.*

I heard the second version of the game from The Learning Company can work with 32 bit Vista and older operating systems. The older Borderbund version doesn't.
