It's funny. Aaron Eckhart played 2 face, whos scars are similar to Hex's, with the showing teeth and muscle tendons and all. And Thomas Jane voices Hex here, and he looks like Aaron Eckhart....I think about things too much.

Im going to risk my ass for saying this but, Jonah Hex is ten-times more bad-ass then Batman, Wolverine, and Deathstroke combined. Every hero has a defining mark: Superman is a guardian, Batman is a crusader, Wonder Woman is a mother to all, but Hex is a born survivor. Both in comics and his publication run.

Not really a character for a full-length feature. Jonah Hex would make a great set up for a series of shorts like they did in Animatrix, Batman Gotham Knight, and Dante's Inferno. Thumbs up if you agree!

@goldestmean He absolutely WOULD make a great character for a full-length film. It just hasn't been done yet. A full-length animated film starring him would be stellar, and would be a refreshing break from the string of (admittedly excellent) Batman/Superman animated films that have come out over the past couple years.

@goldestmean I disagree. I think that in the right hands, Jonah is perfect for a full lengh film. Though it would have to be R rated or at least very hard hitting. I've read some really great Jonah Hex comics lately that wouldn't be anything except R rated if they were animated.

@goldestmean I don't fully agree. I agree that this is fantastic. Same as the others you mentioned, but I feel that it could be done. Jonah in a full length I mean. After the dismel attempt with Megan Fox and co. we probably won't see one, but I think if they got down to the core of it. A brutal scared bounty hunter out for revenge, it could be a boss western, with ties to the comics. Instead they went with a comic movie, with loose ties to the western, which in mind, was the wrong route to take

@Kiefer123 Marvels animated films are hit and miss. they're okay at best. most of them kinda suck but there are a few good ones. Besides marvel hasn't released any new animated films recently.

honestly it seems Marvel is better at making live action theatrical films than animated films,and DC is much better at making animated films/shows than live action movies(The dark knight was excellent though,and Superman the movie(with Christopher Reeves) was pretty good

The Animation Looks Pretty like Japanese Animation (MadHouse) but of course know that is American, so I can say that like in the 50s when japanese learnt from American to use colors in animation, now American have learnt from japanese to make the Animation more dramatic and wth better quality.
