how to bypass the parking brake..

Hola k pasa! Olle me puedes ayudar? Acabo de cambiar el stereo ami troka es un jensen dvd! Lla lo instale pero cuando pongo una movie me aparese k es ilegal manejar mirando el video k lo ponga en parkin! Yo conecte el cable rosa con el negro pero aun no puedo ver el video solo se escucha el sonido! Me di cuenta k el estereo tiene dos cables azules pero uno me fije en el anterior y ese mismo azul lo conecte ala fuente del sonido el k me sobra es un cable azul crea k me puedas ayudar? Grasias

i need a toggle switch because the unit needs to be grounded after the radio is started btw

like someone before you said, make sure you check your wiring diagram before doing anything

Not all parking brake wires are Pink. The wire on my head unit is a light green, make sure to CHECK YOUR WIRING DIAGRAM BEFORE CUTTING WIRES!!!! that said, good video.

That is correct! Thanks for pointing that out. also this method will not work for all headunits so make sure you know what you are doing before attempting it!

light green is usually used as the reverse on the parking brake, so u might want to double check that

Good video! I recently had a navi/dvd system installed in my car. The installer didn't wire it up to play DVD's on the go, but he did tell me which wire I needed to ground. He told me to just attach it to a piece of metal. Can you tell me what exactly needs to be done? How would I attach it it to metal?

I have to connect the pink and the ground what about the other ground... I have a ICBM 4.2GPS wired to a honda civic 2000 I bought the adapter for it, but I pluged black with black and I didn't wired the brake one. Can I connect the black and the pink with the Black... (Black is the ground) thanks...
