Well, getting to North Korea is indeed nothing special. But entering North Korea from Russia via the border-point Tumangan is since the mid-90ies not officially allowed for tourists, we likely were since then the 1st tourists using this route into North Korea. Usually tourits can only arrive by plane or by train from China via Sinuiju.
