I want to be a goldstar family. where do I apply?

to qualify as a Goldstar family you have to lose an immediate family member in time of war. When you see one it means that that family has lost a son a daughter etc. a blue Star family is one that has someone currently deployed overseas for example husband wife son daughter or other immediate family.
