ok if light is not emitted by red light no matter how intense is it .but if we change the wavelength then at certain wavelength it should emit electrons.and if the electrons are emitted then how particle nature of wave is considerd?
This is an invitation to see an artist theory on the physics of light and time!
This theory is based on two postulates
1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself
2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
I i have the minimum frequency to allow this effect to happen, how do I find out whats the energy needed to revome the electron? I have the sodium minimum fequency required to make this effect happen i need to know the minimum energy needed. How do I do it?
@ShockwaveMCPlayer Maybe I can offer a helpful explanation? I'm not exactly sure of what it is you're asking, but if I understand, you know the minimum frequency needed to cause the photoelectric effect to happen, but you need to know the minimum energy needed? If this is so, then you must plug the frequency into Planck's equation for the energy of a wave E=hf. h is Planck's constant, so by knowing the frequency and the constant, you can find the energy of the light.
Gud Explanation.. HElped Quite Alot....

This is a good explanation, which I'm intending to recommend to my students.
