  • Gud Explanation.. HElped Quite Alot....

  • This is a good explanation, which I'm intending to recommend to my students.

  • ok if light is not emitted by red light no matter how intense is it .but if we change the wavelength then at certain wavelength it should emit electrons.and if the electrons are emitted then how particle nature of wave is considerd?

  • very understanding .

  • your video has made good friends with my left ear

  • Love the elephant analogy!

  • Mr. Roff? Is that you? D:

  • Thanks alot! Could you make one on the Franck-Hertz experiment? :P

  • Thank you so much, this was amazing :)

  • Nice :)

  • I i have the minimum frequency to allow this effect to happen, how do I find out whats the energy needed to revome the electron? I have the sodium minimum fequency required to make this effect happen i need to know the minimum energy needed. How do I do it?

  • @ShockwaveMCPlayer Maybe I can offer a helpful explanation? I'm not exactly sure of what it is you're asking, but if I understand, you know the minimum frequency needed to cause the photoelectric effect to happen, but you need to know the minimum energy needed? If this is so, then you must plug the frequency into Planck's equation for the energy of a wave E=hf. h is Planck's constant, so by knowing the frequency and the constant, you can find the energy of the light.

  • @StupidPoemAboutLife Thanks :D

  • Thanks this really helped me get my head around this

  • Great explanation :)

  • Thank you this was really helpful! Loved the voice too XD

  • Thanks, this helped quite a bit :) It beats reading the textbook over and over to try and understand it.

  • Harry Potter, is that you?
