Another reason men don't report violence by women or leave the relationship is due to the intensely biased 'family' laws that will ensure the abuser is enabled to continue abusing her victim by proxy (using the children). If laws were more equality based, and men received custody on a 50/50 basis (currently it's 90/10 in women's favour), men would be more able to walk from an abusive relationship. Instead, she continues abusing him by interfering with contact after separation.

Battered men/husbands/fathers have always existed. But, due to the stigma society has on battered males and the court systems complete denial of its existence, men do not speak out or seek help. If a woman attacks her husband, the police come and arrest the male regardless of the circumstances. In some states, they will also take the females, but the male victim is still arrested, charged with a crime and the woman gets offered court appoint assistance.

I used to be a military police officer, and we were ordered only to arrest males in DV situations. This was due to harassment of our commanding officer by feminist groups, the same women who repeatedly abuse their husbands.

More than once I have seen an abused man sent to the stockade for a crime committed against him, by his wife. I resigned because of this injustice, and I find the 'feminist' movement hypocritical and evil for what it has done to so many innocent men.

Great video. The Domestic Violence Policing Guidelines here in Ontario say that battered husbands are almost always lying. A battered husband called police in Halton region. They said that they would only come to a home if a woman calls.

Amazing. There is a real problem with Domestic Violence against men. Its not nice and people tend to ignore it, like I saw on a video in PSHE, "For women its what you look like, and for Men its what you do" I guess society has brainwashed men so much they are scared of reporting it so they dont get laughed upon.

I was in an abusive marriage where my wife at the time threw a kitchen knife at me and mised my head by barely an inch. The police were called, and nothing was done. I did nothing to provoke the incident except being accused of 'cheating', which was untrue.
