I dated a guy for three years, we split up because he moved to America to study. (I live in England.) It’s been two years since he left and I thought I was finally over him until I listened to this song. It describes our relationship perfectly right down to the line “I brushed your curls back so I could see your eyes.” (I have ridiculously curly hair.) All I want to do after listening to it is tell him that I still love him. Amazing how a song can bring back the emotions you try fight away.
@shamalamadingdongize Funny you should say that, a few weeks ago I randomly bumped into his sister and she told me to do that same thing. I couldn’t get him out of my head after talking to her so last week I caved in and rung him literally at 2 AM because I couldn’t sleep from thinking about him. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. He is coming home next month for a few weeks over Christmas so we’re going to try and hopefully sort something out.

one of my best friends is going to school halfway across the US. He came home for holidays and took me christmas shopping and to dinner on the town.While in the restaurant this song was playing, It was so perfect felt like I was in a movie perfect moment. :)

My story is different than everyone else's. I left my private school for a public school (which i absolutely hate) and never kept in touch with all of my amazing 5 best friends. And i had only made a few friends at my new school because i was quiet. I just started crying because i remember how good of friends we were and how much we laughed and now we dont talk :(

God this song brings me to tears every time, i swear. Over the summer, and over the past year I had gotten close with a guy. We were in love (at least in my eyes, but what is really love at age 17, and for only one year) He got accepted to UCLA, and that was how we ended our summer, packing up his room. He told me that this wasn't it and ti wasn't over.. "You went off to college at the end of that summer...and we lost touch." I can honestly say its been over 10 months...I miss you graham.

I dated a guy for three years, we split up because he moved to America to study. (I live in England.) It’s been two years since he left and I thought I was finally over him until I listened to this song. It describes our relationship perfectly right down to the line “I brushed your curls back so I could see your eyes.” (I have ridiculously curly hair.) All I want to do after listening to it is tell him that I still love him. Amazing how a song can bring back the emotions you try fight away.

@shamalamadingdongize Funny you should say that, a few weeks ago I randomly bumped into his sister and she told me to do that same thing. I couldn’t get him out of my head after talking to her so last week I caved in and rung him literally at 2 AM because I couldn’t sleep from thinking about him. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. He is coming home next month for a few weeks over Christmas so we’re going to try and hopefully sort something out.
