No, Rowdee is very accurate and careful. He is not naturally a horse inclined to kick or rear, if he was, I would never have taught him tricks like this. His tricks are to him the same as a lead change, sliding stop or spin is to a reining horse. He is just following a command. One that he loves, but still following my command.
I promise you, he is not afraid of the ball, he loves his ball and is always eager to work on his tricks. I have never had a horse learn so quickly how to pick up new tricks as Rowdee is. If he were afraid of the ball, he would be avoiding it, not working with me to aim for it.
Oh my god i am soo sorry! I got the wrong video coz i must of watched a different one and showed my friend..i must of showed her the wrng one...SO SORRY!! x
I taught Rowdee this trick years ago. I have performed it and quite a few more that were actually more dangerous at lots of fairs, rodeos, expos and as an independant entertainment act. Rowdee is a one of a kind horse, he loves what he does. Never once did he ever hurt me, even tho I taught him to kick objects out of my hands. He is now pretty much retired to stud. I still play with him sometimes tho, for old times sake.
Cool trick and all but do you really think it's a good idea to be teaching him that? Next time some foreign object comes flying at the horse while your riding, it will try to kick at it and you might fall off.
TorpedoandCoco you are just like the rest of them.. its a cool trick but i think the horse can tell teh diffrence thru play and something flying to him, plus the girl isnt riding him while she splaying so its totaly diffrent
HOW?? did you teach him to do this?? SHARE PLEASE!! Thanks!!

LOL, not as long as it looks in the video. The converter stretched it to a different format, so it distorted it some.
