Why the hell are all the comments on this video about a stuck gas pedal. Even if the gas got stuck, the brakes are designed to overpower the engine! Any driver that says "oh my gas pedal got stuck" is full of shit. If you don't know how to react in the rare instance of a stuck gas pedal then don't drive.

(dont panic and turn the car off till youre stopped, let the engine rev like fuck if the pedal is stuck, who cares, its better to have power steering and brakes work properly in this event) turn the car off when your stopped.

Don't be funny. The entire incident took only nine seconds. Can you honestly say, caught entirely off guard while driving down the highway, you'd always respond properly (braking, shifting, switching off ignition, etc) within such a short period? You natural reaction time would consume some of that, even more so when caught off guard and confused by the vehicle's behavior.

@stewartx5 Well yes I can honestly say that I would respond properly. The time it takes me to react to the road or my vehicle and go from the gas pedal to the brake pedal is under a second.... All the other things I listed are just options if your brakes for some reason don't work.

Granted I would never need to use the other options in the first place. I maintain my vehicle and I drive properly.
