Every tutorial I look at for this song doesn't have the strumming or picking patterns! The chords are easy, I got them down in 30 seconds flat, it's just HOW to make the SOUND that's getting to me. Which strings do I pick? It would be helpful if someone showed us how to strum the song, so everyone could play it!

Why use a capo? I dont use a capo cuase I dont see the point in them. Do you know how to play it without a capo?

You need to use a capo in some songs. It just makes th guitar sound a few tones higher. You could place a bar with your finger but it'll be impossible b/c u need ur finger to play. If you don't have a capo buy one or you could make a fake one using a pincil and string.

@Eli081893 I understand what you're saying, but I've come to find that not everything. Theres more than one way to play a song. THat's all I'm saying. When I said I don't see the point, I simply think a littl different. I preffer to do things the hard way. I'm a hard headed person, I'm not going to lie. I should preobbaly try to change that, but I don't see the point in that either. Lol. Well, I'm just saiyng that not every song needs a capo. I"m not trying to argue. I just have a diffrnt style.

@Musicloverlife1 No offens guys. I just don't see the point. I have a different style than alot of people. You don't need a capo to play almost alot of songs that use a capo. Trust me. I've been playing for 13 years. I've never used a capo on a song, and people seem to think I'm insane for that. However, you don't need a capo for every song because theres more than one way to play a song. Wheather is by tab, or jsut weird proggressions. I usualy use a capo for a last resort. THat's all I'm sayin

The capo changes the key of the notes your playing. So, unless you feel the urge to transpose the chords and blah blah bah...

Trust me, if you're going to play, get a capo.

@comentators I do feel the need to transpose. I have a capo, I got it for my brithday a few years back. But I've never used it. It's still in the pack. And acctually, no. I don't have a problem with transposing at all. I find it challenging. I havnt used a capo at all. I don't see the point.

an easy way to play it is jus chords, but if u mess around with them u should be able to pick it up fairly quickly, no capo, standard tuning Am G F G, thats pretty much it

buy one is easiest. honestly, theyre not too expensive, and they are really useful. someone posted a comment a few above this with chords that apparantly suond like it when played without a capo.

Brilliant.

I like how you didn't show the finger picking/strumming part. Allows the learner to make their own mess of it. The original is messy, out of place, and this lets the learner be messy.

Can you make the tabs. I know it's a really big request and you probably don't have the time to do it, but I think it will be easier for newbies and will be more than helpful. Plus it seems that the song won't take long to do the tabs since u figured it out.

I'm left-handed and been playin right handed all these years using music and tabs, never being able to easily visually translate a left-hand on the frets to my own left hand. And voila, I see a left-hander chording with his right hand, and VOILA! I finally get it!
