David Icke and others propose the same speculative dribble. The problem is that too many people have lost the skill of critical thinking. These new-age, pseudo-science gurus would not be popular if people weren't so ignorant and scientifically illiterate.
Someone needs to explain how belief in something can make it real? Where is science if empirical evidence is no longer needed? I agree that there is this, what we call 'spiritual' aspect' of life, because it is something felt, but putting it into the words of science is just plain confusing.
I don't understand the connection between quantum mechanics and the idea of an immaterial, undetectable soul. Either I'm missing something or he's just making superficial connections between two unrelated ideas. Also, the primary problem with his philosophy is, IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT SOMETHING EXISTS, HOW CAN YOU KNOW THAT IT EXISTS?
It doesn NOT 'evolve' into a wave. It measures like a wave. Measuring is exactly what gives us wave/particle duality, because we measure it as a wave but it acts like a particle. We can measure waves. You have no idea what your talking about. And how the hell does this have anything to do with Platonic forms or qualia? You are mashing up a bunch of words & ideas together of which you obviously have a poor understanding.
Feel the sensations of everything around you. Experience of sight, sound, smell. Experiences which cannot be imagined. Consciousness has two polarities, we're attracted to one, and repelled by the other. These two polarities create contrast, similar to the way a vibrating string creates music. I believe that's an analogy for the whole universe, we are instruments creating music. Together we are a symphony, and our song is never finished.
The magnetic and gravitational fields that are the foundation of physics are interesting too, because they are totally non-physical. They are simply fields of affect. Hold two magnets close to each other, you feel their pull but there is nothing physically connecting them. It's a behavior of the universe. Why does the universe behave this way? It's a fundamental aspect of reality. I see consciousness in the same way, as being a fundamental property of reality, intertwined with everything.
Of course there is no empirical reality. You can’t measure the thoughts in my head, you can’t measure my consciousness. You can’t measure my thoughts, ideas, feelings! Thanks Deepak.
Furthermore, the whole trick to LIFE and HAPPINESS is controlling your own thoughts feelings and ideas and then CREATING the life that you want!
thanks Zeno 1999 I agree, but Deepak does inspire me, with this poetically, and I guess a poem with an explanation may result in the bliss of artists, feeling this sacred space in the expression of their art in togetherness :):
I believe artistic expression is the future of conscious 'science'
@theinnercreative < Love making is measurable as biochemical process. Love itself is felt on several levels of beings - sensations/visions/heart beat change etc - more chemical ? Who is experiencing love ? Body ? Mind ? Another witness : soul ?
it is a very interesting realm more or less the space inbetween inspiration and actual creativity. It can be 'listened' to in the silence of the moment. Not that it is a 6th sense or something. It is just the prelude to an idea I guess.
To me it is sacred space and should certainly not be explained too much. It is the sacred secret of our being. Do not unravel this too much. It takes away the beauty of it all :)
@TheHeartphone < TA, "sacred space" is a non-empirical reality. An atom in this SS has potential to become wave. And a wave in this SS has potential to become particle(s).
Some mysteries should remain hidden and best experienced than explained away. So it is time for Deepak ji to carry a staff and start hitting on the head of those who ask such deep questions.

How is a wave not energy? Isn't the fact that it is a wave show that it is energy?
