Good points about money...

so why do churches ALWAYS take up so many offerings? Last church I went to would take up like 2 offerings on Sunday. The tithes, then the offering sometimes a "building fund". And if a guest- a "special offering"

If money isn't so important...why does the church always ask for so much?

Yes you must because you were very vague and didnt direclty answer my points. Tithes, another offering, a building fun, a visitor "special fund"...doesnt that seem a bit excessive? Churches arent taxed, they pay no taxes on purchases (even churches that dont do charity work) which does keep some revenue from the state as well. Hardly seems "non" profit and why gyp the state and local economy out of some revenue?

Lots of churches really dont help charities all that much.

@hipstermi Who cares? No one is putting a gun to your head forcing you to give anything. As long as you give at least your tithe you are obedient to the Word and you will be blessed. If a church uses money poorly or is corrupted by greed God will still bless you for obeying His Word and tithing.
