that's awesome! i've always wanted a carpet python. but my folks won't let me get anything bigger than my ball pythons. they for some reason think anything bigger than a ball with kill their damn weiner dog. haha. o well. i'm just gonna work on producing a blue eyed leucistic :)
I think a 55gallon tank would be big enough for a JCP. A good rule of thumb is whatever the snake's length is, it can generally do well in a tank that is half its length. Although with larger snakes such as the burms, retics, and anacondas, once they get a little bigger, tanks are really of no use to a 10 foot pissed off retic lol. Vision cages are another great choice for snakes. Jcp are medium sized snakes about 6 to 7 feet, but they are built very slender. Anyways nice looking snake.
Cada vez que veo mudar de piel a mi serpiente me quedo atónito, y eso que hace mas de 3 años que la tengo, que la he visto mudar de piel cientos de veces. It is a very very beautiful Spilota, I have a same of this.
a 55 gallon tank should be enough for a snake up to 5 feet i think.
If ultimately the length times the depth of the tank, (or maybe in the case of an arboreal snake the height) is the same as the length of your snake, it's usually a good size vivarium. There are loads of care sheets on this on the interweb. but yeah 55 gallon is fine up too 5 feet i'd say, if your snake is still a wee baby you might want to give him a smaller enclosure until he has grown a bit or it might stress out.
mainly the darwins and diamonds. most of the others are fine. just remember to feed in a serpate tub to what you keep them in. otherwise whenever you go to handle it, it will try and attack you.
as hatchlings they are really nervous and sometimes aggressive, but if you handle them carefully & calmly they calm down after about 6 months. This is pretty much the case with most pythons.
Thanks ^^ You've got a nice snake collection dude, I've got 6 snakes, might post some more vids soon.. Daisy is really cute btw, guess she wasn't when you just got her huh? My male is as tame as can be, but he gets a different look in his eyes while feeding, not strange, but something I have to keep in mind ^^
My jungle is a german x clark bloodline I believe...He's 2-3 years I think but I've only had him for one year. Btw I really like "Boomer" as a name :D Still have to think of a cool one for mine...
Awesome snake and great video, 10/10 for patience in order to film it too! :)

@baklap666 edit: I mean length PLUS the depth = equal to length snake is usually about right.. length x depth is ridiculous

cool snake man !
i named me jungle " Boomer " and he's only approx 1 meter at the moment, about 15 months old.
im hope boomer gets to about 1.8 meters, but i doubt it coz he's a palmerston type.
what type is your jungle?
