This morning while I was dreaming, In my dream I heard the word dreaming and that made me start to realize I was dreaming so I started wake up and I was on my back and for some reason I started to think of that in between state your talking about here, and then I heard a buzzing sound in my head and my vision went very white and bright and I felt alot of anxiety inside which scared me away from this in between state and then I woke up. It was very odd and i've never felt anything like it.
On the threshold I tend to receive vivid imagery but it does have a substance/tangibility to it...flashing by as I arise but soon dissipates as I move back into my head. It is a more relaxed and flowing state of being...when I “wake” it seems a tension also comes into being and cuts me from this more perceptive ish state..I feel with practice I could control this more – in line with what you were saying about the shamans..though trance doesnt seems right. It does feel naturalish in a way/ lucid
@rainwindandwolf - It could be interesting to see what may emerge from this state. One could take various sorts of hallucinogens to get to the same place, but with much practice it can be done without 'em. Part of the challenge, I believe, is keeping the body completely relaxed.. I experience this just before I sleep, as well. If one rests their body enough, I think the eyes being open wouldn't prevent the visions from surfacing. It's a challenge, that's for sure.
@RPJoey I think so too - i have noticed whilst staring at a flame for some time the surroundings dissolve into void. Any change of focus/eye blinking etc brings you back though...but it’s like looking without looking...maybe the vision begins to turn inward once you no longer respond to outer stimulus. my practice needs more practice lol
I have been experencing sleep paralysis sence i was like 5 im 18 now. I use to be very scared beacuse i would see all these different beings around me. sometime they would touch me or the would make me see like these weired images. as i got use to this happening to me they began to try and bull me out of my body. i started astral projecting and lately i been trying to learn from them. These spiritual beings are here to help they cannot hurt you.
@KyRhie19921 - It's interesting, because not every experience is exactly the same. Have you ever heard strange buzzing noises while you were in the midst of sleep paralysis?
@RPJoey - yea i have yead the buzzing noise and i've also heard like a popping noise like if someone popped a light bulb. I even hear voices when i dont see anything around me.
@TheMegamike90 - Glad to know I'm not alone. I've always known I wasn't the only one but knowing that others have had experiences with that inbetween state of awareness.
I always fall asleep on my back (just what is most comfortable to me) I've never had anything happen to me when I am waking up, but right before I fall asleep I will see things. I will see blue lights of energy everywhere and everything will gain a fluid like appearance.
@JoolieRoolie - That is a point to work from. The trick is remaining awake while the body is on its way to shutting down for sleep. If you're willing to try and let me know about how it works out, definitely do so.. Please? lol
@RPJoey i did indeed try that last night. Everything usual happened but I started to hear voices. I don't know who's voices they were. it would be like just a random word or two from whatever the voice(s) was/were saying and it would move to another voice. Sometimes it wouldn't be a voice, but a noise/tone/sound. I eventually fell asleep on accident. Practice makes perfect, though. I will try again.
I'm nor sure how to explain WHAT exactly it is, but there is something that you are implying in your words toward the end of the video ( or maybe i just think you are implying it haha) that I feel is something you and me totally see eye to eye on. Maybe it was after your mention of the necronomicon idk. But yeah if anything worth sharing happens tonight when i try this ill let you know. Peace man, great video btw :)
@WeAreLivingMagic - Excellent. Strange how we have similar experiences with sleep paralysis, but there are so many people who have had experience with it, but don't really talk about it. I'm definitely looking forward to it if anything does happen.
Great video effects. VERY fitting considering the subject matter. I'm going to try that tonight man, sleeping on my back. The only time that I woke up into a paralyzed state I was on my back. I "rolled out" of my body and fell onto the floor. I was very very heavy. And i felt like i was laying on a pile of wet clothing. When i finally got up... there was a giant stuffed animal. Foghorn Leghorn to be exact. Then I woke up in my actual body and got up :)
Yeah. I feel this. the 'good' and 'evil'. My experiences, both psychedelic and OBE, and NDEs I have heard of. Take the person attacked, and s/he yells for help and is helped...it is all a drama. an interelated scene.
Even in real physical reality--there is this great healing that can happen in entheogenic healing when --if you have been abused and traumatized---you relive this BUT you become BOTH the abused AND the abuser!!! In other words you become the whole drama~~~
@zezt - I've heard so many good things about entheogenic therapy for addicts. In books, articles, you know, they all say that they meet these incredible entities telling them to, "Make your bed!"
@zezt - Nope. I actually pulled that quote from memory. Don't know if you had the chance to read "2012: The return of Quetzalcoatl" by Daniel Pinchbeck. A friend of his took iboga at a clinic in South America and was approached by an entity which told him to make his bed in a hellish sort of way. Scared him straight.
it makes sense cause most people who lose it, first thing is they become overtly untidy and smell
I believe Iboga is amazing especially for people with opiate habits. my channel feature video is the Bwiti people who have Iboga as their sacred medicine
The angels,as part of the structure of reality itself, have nothing to follow but God/Source/Love.Some have fallen,as we have into a lower state of consciousness, becoming part of the structure of the separation from love. They act upon their structure, and they have INCREDIBLE effects on us,although we'd never realize it until we become sensitive,or have our third eye opened.I have a good buddy who can see angels very clearly,as well as the "demons" and I can feel them quite clearly. They exist.
This video ROCKS!!! Well done sir!

I usually dream about animals and native americans (south and north americans).
9 of 10 of my dreams contain animals, and maybe 2 of 10 natives.
The other day i dreamt about some bizarre creatures, not from this world, and i was wondering if theyre beings from another dimension.

I have been looking at videos about the serial killer Richard Ramirez. You seen about this guy?

I do agree with what u said about the "evil" though, it makes us stronger, so that we can at some point, just transcend all evil :D

I'm gonna have to try this...Angels and demons are only names we label them as, they do exist though.
TheRiffShaman 1 year ago
@TheRiffShaman - Perhaps, but maybe not. To our point of reference they're only as evil or good as we measure them to be.
