At that time, the sharpness levels were Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. There was no Blue, White or Purple.
During the quest, the corresponding icon to yellow sharpness was just the sword without any colored "glow", and then orange was a broken sword, and red was a broken sword with a red glow, just like any other MH game. The difference was that green sharpness was shown on the hud with that yellowish glow you see.

hey dude clip how can you fight against something soo high caliber not have goosebumps,adrenaline and still be so calm it s waht happens to me when i fight los hes toguh and hard i can t beat him.....but hey i can turn mysef pretty well against the lower wyverns like cephalodrome and gypceros.Kut-ku don t count cus he was made to be deafeated.
@Juanaug22 Depending on what version you play, i know in MHF2 and MHFU, if you make him charge into a wall, he will get stuck and drop something(wyvern tears/sobs, or a very rare chave of a monoblos heart.
Ok first of all this is the first monster hunter ever made and this is why you can easily tell where he is going after having trown a paintball....in modern versions such as monster hunter freedom 1,2 and frontier this feature does not exist so its harder to tell where the monster is going.
P.S. you can see the monsters movement at 7:35 just look at the minimap.
Ok this is a way to increase your chances on obtaining a blos heart.... as u may know cutting the tail of a monster gives you an extra carve...also if u break some certain parts of a monster you obtain rewards...like if u do a proprer head-lock and break his horn its highly likeable to get a blood-red horn so i suggest to hit it's chest... try it out and reply back at me.P.S I have obtained twice a blos heart by striking it's chest continiously
@Possesed08 You're totally wrong... it doesen't work like that for the Monoblos Heart... You obtain it only by carving the Monoblos, and hitting certain parts of his body doesen't influence the chance of getting it, which is always 1% (or 2%, I don't remember very well...)

it doesnt bleed because the sparks symbolize the weapon bouncing off the skin but because its a lance it ignores the bouncing unlike a gs. so basically the skins too hard to be cut because in the original game they only had green sharpness and lower none of the blue - white sharpness.

It's just a matter of training, if you play a lot with lances you start to get familiar with the moves and stuff like that... Also, Red Tail+ (the last one of its series is called Spear of Prominence) is not so good compared to Ogre Tusk or Undertaker...

That's not a proper online mode, you just use a program (Xlink Kai) to simulate ad-hoc connection with others psp, but the result is the same, you can play online with everyone in the world.
You need a Rathalos Wing for that. It can be obtained either with the quest "Catch a Rathalos", where you can get it in thr reward with but it's very rare, or in "Troublesome Pair" (Rathian and Rathalos in Swamp zone), where you can obtain with 100% of possibility in reward.
i don't know if you know this, but you can block it when he comes up from under the ground. just face where he digs and put your shield up. it sometimes takes a small amount of HP but it helps when he's pissed and running around in hyper speed mode or w/e. o and you can get him stuck in the ledge. it's so funny hearing him whine. so tired of doing that stupid four horns mission for friends...
I think that the lance is definetely the best weapon to kill Diablos, or at least i found it very useful and it took less time to kill Diablos using it. But i don't know what kind of weapon you can use best o_o if you want to kill it faster, take some Sonic Bombs with you, and throw them when Diablos goes underground: it will remain trapped into the earth for some seconds, while you can deal a lot of damage to him
yea..tried that too..attack with great sword from the under belly of the diablos is much harder then the monoblos...i think i died too many times in that mission due to the tramping of the diablos....then his charge move...zzz

oh ya.....the second best weapon for this wywen is it the hammer?
I advice to do the Kut-Ku armor with Ioprey Helm and Ioprey Graves, it's good and it has the skill "Attack up (small)" that raises your attack power a bit. Besides, it has a pretty good defence.
Instead of that, you could do Genprey Armor, which has "Anti Stun" skill that avoids to be stunned by genpreys, vespoid and other monsters

Uhm... Poison Axe is good, but you could also use the Deadly Poison, made of Ioprey Parts.
If you're trying to kill Vespoids to obtain their parts, then i strongly advice to use Deadly Poison, because Battle Axe could kill them in one hit breaking them, and in that case you can't carve them :D
hey i got a better suggestion, why don't make the monoblos armor because it is anti stun....and attack (large) but it consume lot of your stamina x 1.5(you have to eat more) But it looks cool too when the monoblos armor mix with rathalos armor...looks cool
PS:the monoblos armor is only the upper part of the body.......the waist part and below (don't have monoblos armor part) thats the sad part....
I know it.... i'm not a noob O_O but since i have played online, i made some pieces of the Rathalos+ Armor, and i prefered to use it... Besides... i didn't use this armor to have a certain amount of defence, i just like it.... normally i use (or i used, now i don't play MH anymore) Auroros, the armor made by Lao Shan parts...
it depends if you are talking about mh1, mh2, mhf or mhf2, anyway... if you mean mh1... i recommend eager cleaver or siegmund or ancient blade... if its the first time u are fighting monoblos, the best choice at that point of the game is great serpenblade

the afilado influences in the attack, a weapon never does the damage that says to do.
It can hit until even by simply 40 points, creates the babel and edges that the attack never is it everything..

I made myself an ogre tusk and am using mega demon drugs to kill the monoblos for fast kill, and with a lance its much easier to knock off horn.

Beh la Katana Akantor ha il problema dell'acutezza troppo bassa, solo un goccio di acu verde... poi per il resto è perfetta, 1200, critico 20% (o forse di più, non ricordo)...

I think you make it directly, but to unlock it you'll need Lao Shan Ruby. I'm not sure, anyway you have kill do lots of Lao XD

You need Fatalis and Lao Shan parts, i dunno exactly which items, probably you'll need Lao Shan Ruby.

In order to make Ogre Tusk you need Ioprey Hide, Lg Monster Bone and Monster Fluid... they are easy to get...
(it's been a long time since i played MH1, so maybe i forgot some items needed :P)
You make Ogre Tusk from Bone Lance, going through Long Tusk and Barbaroi Tusk and some other lances, then you'll finally arrive at Ogre Tusk

lol still...i hate lances....cause i made red tail+ and it looked so awsome...i left it a while...and at one point i saw that u just cant do this with lances!!! so i just killed him with pba and selle that lance XD

It's just a matter of training, if you play a lot with lances you start to get familiar with the moves and stuff like that... Also, Red Tail+ (the last one of its series is called Spear of Prominence) is not so good compared to Ogre Tusk or Undertaker...

This is not MHF, is MH1 O.o'
Anyway, i think that there's still that move in MHF2, cos it's one of the most common moves for Monoblos, Diablos and a lot of other wyverns

There's not a particular way to make him do this move. He usually does it if you're cose to him, and instead of the charge he just do a thrust move.

That's not a proper online mode, you just use a program (Xlink Kai) to simulate ad-hoc connection with others psp, but the result is the same, you can play online with everyone in the world.

You need a Rathalos Wing for that. It can be obtained either with the quest "Catch a Rathalos", where you can get it in thr reward with but it's very rare, or in "Troublesome Pair" (Rathian and Rathalos in Swamp zone), where you can obtain with 100% of possibility in reward.

i don't know if you know this, but you can block it when he comes up from under the ground. just face where he digs and put your shield up. it sometimes takes a small amount of HP but it helps when he's pissed and running around in hyper speed mode or w/e. o and you can get him stuck in the ledge. it's so funny hearing him whine. so tired of doing that stupid four horns mission for friends...

is the monoblos harder to kill or the diablos? feeling the diablos harder to kill any suggestion how to kill it fast?

I think that the lance is definetely the best weapon to kill Diablos, or at least i found it very useful and it took less time to kill Diablos using it. But i don't know what kind of weapon you can use best o_o if you want to kill it faster, take some Sonic Bombs with you, and throw them when Diablos goes underground: it will remain trapped into the earth for some seconds, while you can deal a lot of damage to him

yea..tried that too..attack with great sword from the under belly of the diablos is much harder then the monoblos...i think i died too many times in that mission due to the tramping of the diablos....then his charge move...zzz
(is like the place he step always touches me...)

I advice to do the Kut-Ku armor with Ioprey Helm and Ioprey Graves, it's good and it has the skill "Attack up (small)" that raises your attack power a bit. Besides, it has a pretty good defence.
Instead of that, you could do Genprey Armor, which has "Anti Stun" skill that avoids to be stunned by genpreys, vespoid and other monsters

Uhm... Poison Axe is good, but you could also use the Deadly Poison, made of Ioprey Parts.
If you're trying to kill Vespoids to obtain their parts, then i strongly advice to use Deadly Poison, because Battle Axe could kill them in one hit breaking them, and in that case you can't carve them :D

hey i got a better suggestion, why don't make the monoblos armor because it is anti stun....and attack (large) but it consume lot of your stamina x 1.5(you have to eat more) But it looks cool too when the monoblos armor mix with rathalos armor...looks cool
PS:the monoblos armor is only the upper part of the body.......the waist part and below (don't have monoblos armor part) thats the sad part....

I know it.... i'm not a noob O_O but since i have played online, i made some pieces of the Rathalos+ Armor, and i prefered to use it... Besides... i didn't use this armor to have a certain amount of defence, i just like it.... normally i use (or i used, now i don't play MH anymore) Auroros, the armor made by Lao Shan parts...

it depends if you are talking about mh1, mh2, mhf or mhf2, anyway... if you mean mh1... i recommend eager cleaver or siegmund or ancient blade... if its the first time u are fighting monoblos, the best choice at that point of the game is great serpenblade

I really don't know which is the best game in the series... perhaps it is monster hunter frontier, but it is only japanese and u can play only if u have a japanese IP

Offline you can get it from egg delivering quests, without breaking any egg.
You can also get it from the quest "Handle with care" where you have to deliver a powderstone.
Online it could be obtained also from Lao Shan quest and some delivering quests
