  • niceeeeee

    everything is so organic!

drums sound like a funky drummer!! very good job.

  • @narudh

    Thanks.

  • wonderful track, nice video ... thanks

  • Hey Herbert, Quick question se-1x or voyager rack?

  • Hi empirix! Never touched a Moog so I really cant say. Voyager can be controlled with external CV stuff. I love my SE1X but would like to test the Voyager too.

  • 25 seconds in something great kicks in, is that the Perfourmer? Or is that the Studioelectronics SE1X? I'm trying to decide whether to pick up one of the few remaining PerFourmers because as of this time, Vermona has discontinued it!

    Great little song!

  • @ThePuterpoo

yeah, thats a the perfourmer in about 25s sweeping in.

  • hey. digging this. so you find Numerology good for arranging these kind of intricate drum sequences?

  • @duggabax

Hey, thanks for digging. The best would be to have hardware sequencers i think.. With Numerology you can have a own sequencer for each drum channel, thats nice if you want run different speeds/lenghts etc.. I dont know is it good, but its fun.

  • This is a really great sounding song. Can't wait to get a copy of numerology myself :P Gonna control it with launchpad. :D

I was wondering though, can you use it to send midi data to control synth parameters and whatnot? Or maybe I mean CC data, either way. My plan right now is to run it alongside Ableton Live, but I'm really hoping it can modulate the parameters within Live, especially the sampler. Thanks :)

  • Thanks... I have controlled my SE1X parameters with numerology, but I dont know how to do it with Ableton.. Keep on digging or contact the programmer of numerology. :)

  • very cool track. I have yet to hear the perfourmer sound bad. I think I have to pick one of these up.

  • It's always a pleasure.

    Superb !

  • Great track! And thanks for the info on your equipment, I always like hearing what was used on tracks.

  • Nice track man! very cool! 5 stars!

  • how are you doing the gating on your bass?

it sounds like chopping... Sq Wave LFO?

  • hi&thanks

In numerology you can divide each step of step sequencer, so if you have a 16th gate and divide it by 2, the step will be 2* 32. I dont remember what speed the gate seq run in this track, perhaps it was relatively slow. With slower speed you can obtain more strange dividings. Anyways, no audio chopping here. Every note is triggered with a good old midi gate.

  • !Thats what I was thinking I do the sam with my MPC

    :) ! nice track

  • Thank you !

    Very nice song !

    Great sounds & beats !

  • fcking cool but its a bit of a aphex twin rip

  • maybe, we all have influences.. but thanks..

  • how you work that out? this is majestic, only similar thing to afx is maybe the beat patterns bit reminiscent of analord tracks but hey Herbert is a god !!!!!!:)

  • Well, thanks..

Just practicing around with some gear. Simple, yet fun to make. With numerology you cant do complex and constantly changing melodys.. Sequencing, sequencing, knobs, faders and record.

  • Yeah i know, i decided to buy numerology and a macbook over the nemo and switched to Logic too - which i find pretty damn good, although i still think about nemo sequencer a lot as well as the Andromeda!!!!

  • something about this --- I keep playing it ---

  • Hmm, thanks, hope you get over it..

  • FIVE12 FIVE STARS

  • this is really nice music

    great

    :-)

  • Onko tää kuvattu kiinassa?

  • Jep.
