No hesitation here...The Sevenwaters trilogy by Juliet Marillier. They include Daughter of the Forest, Son of the Shadows, and Child of the Prophecy. Some of my favorite books of all time.
Thank you for setting this up, it is a good idea, I never know what to read next I'll be coming back to this. Strangely enough I only found this because I was looking for other people who like Howl's Moving Castle, I'm releived to have found someone. Thanks.
